Back in July, LEGO was supposed to release the last Bricktober 2022 sets on the Rewards Center which was the Fantasy Adventure Ride (5007489) but was ultimately delayed until August. LEGO has just announced that it will finally be released on Wednesday, August 16. There was no time given at this time so I suggest checking right at midnight.

Today is 810NICLE Day which is an annual celebration of LEGO BIONICLE and the folks over at Team Kanohi has announced that BIONICLE: Masks of Power demo will be available on Steam early next year. BIONICLE: Masks of Power is a game that is fan-made project that retells the stories of BIONICLE using Unreal Engine 5. Earlier today, they dropped a new gameplay trailer which actually looks well polished even though it’s still in development.
One of my favorite smaller sets from 2023 is the LEGO Disney 100 “Up” House (43217) and Amazon has finally given it a discount. Normally priced at $59.99, the set has been discounted 20% which drops the price down to $48. The set includes minifigures of Carl Fredricksen and Russell as well as animals of Dug and the squirrel.

LEGO has officially revealed their new LEGO Icons set with the Concorde (10318). Releasing on September 4 for VIPs, the set has 2,083 pieces and will retail for $199.99.
Billund – August 10th 2023: The LEGO Group today unveils a set that is sure to reach new heights – the LEGO® Concorde Set. Arguably one of the most iconic and famous aircrafts in history, the Concorde could cruise twice as fast as the speed of sound. An engineering masterpiece, the Concorde now comes in LEGO brick form. Built in the 1960s as part of a joint venture between the United Kingdom and France, the Concorde was the first supersonic passenger carrying commercial aircraft. This 2083-piece set is an accurate scale model of the airplane, that can be showcased in the home using the display stand, allowing the possibility to pose the brick-plane either in flight mode or tilted mode for take-off and landing.
The set is also rich in detail, with a removable roof to show off the opulent cabin interior, landing gear, as well as the nose and visor tilts.
LEGO has announced the winner of the LEGO Ideas 50 Years of Dungeons & Dragons cover art contest. Back in May, LEGO chose three finalists in which their design will be on the cover of the building instructions for the upcoming set. After months of deliberation, the winner is the Epic Battle Relief Painting by chainsaw yu 電鋸鋸鋸鋸.
At the time of this post, LEGO still hasn’t announced any information about the set which is the Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End by BoltBuilds.
I may be late to this but if you’re looking for the LEGO DC Batman 1992 (30653), you may want to check your Walmart stores. After weeks looking for it, it was finally put on shelves recently at my store here in San Diego. I’ve also heard that it has started to show up at other stores across the US as well. It has 40 pieces and retails for $4.97. This Batman minifigure is the exact same one as in the Batman Batcave – Shadow Box (76252).
Update: I looked at my receipt on the Walmart app and it links to this page which I believe is the landing page for it.
