Get your wallets ready because there is only a week left until pre-orders open for the BrickLink Designer Program Series 3 sets. There are five sets that you can start purchasing on October 8 at 8am Pacific/11am Eastern. Like before, each set will need a minimum of 3,000 pre-orders to be produced and a maximum of 30,000 of each will be made. The popular ones will most likely sell out within the first day so check them out and be ready when they go live.

The Pharrell Williams biopic Piece by Piece will be in theaters later this month and there is a collaboration LEGO set called Over the Moon with Pharrell Williams (10391). The set has 966 pieces and retails for $109.99.

Amazon has some limited time deals on this year’s LEGO Advent Calendars. They have discounted the LEGO Star Wars (75395) and the LEGO City (60436) Advent Calendars by 20%. The price of the Star Wars one drops to $35.99 while the City is at $26.39.

LEGO October 2024 Sets Available on LEGO Shop

October is now here and there are a number of new LEGO sets that have just released on the LEGO Shop. Some new licensed IPs have now dropped including sets for Fortnite, Wednesday, and Wicked.

For the October 2024 LEGO promotions, there are two now available with different end dates to be aware of that. The LEGO Creator Halloween Pumpkin (40697) is available until October 14 with purchases of $120, while supplies last.

We also have the Brite Bomber BrickHeadz (40728) which is available with $90 purchases from October 1-3 for Insiders and October 4-7 to general public, while supplies last.

LEGO Ideas Updates Rules Effective Starting Today

LEGO has just announced updated rules and guidelines for LEGO Ideas which will allow more possibilities to new projects. Announced a few days ago, they have upped the maximum number of elements for a build from 3,000 to 5,000. There is now also a minimum 200 element count for submissions. Lastly, LEGO has provided a minifigure-to-element ratio guide. These changes are now in effect and are not retroactively applied to already submitted projects.

LEGO Ideas is about to get bigger, more detailed, and better than ever! We want to empower all our amazing fan designers to unlock their next level of creativity and us to showcase the best and brightest of the LEGO Ideas community.

We’ve listened to your feedback and are excited to announce some updates to our Product Ideas rules and guidelines:

• The maximum number of elements a build can feature will be raised from 3,000 to 5,000 elements.

We know building constraints can be tough. Especially when it comes to adding the finishing touches and decoration, only for you to realize you’re at 3,000 elements. Coming off one of the best deals we’ve seen on the set, Amazon has further discounted the LEGO Icons Atari 2600 (10306) by 40%. This drops the price of it down to $143.99 which saves you a whopping $96 on it. This sale also price matches Target, however, you can save an additional 5% if you have the Circle Card. I highly doubt that we’ll see a bigger sale for this set as it will be retiring at the end of the year.

October is coming up fast and here’s our shopping guide on what LEGO sets will be released during the month on the LEGO Shop. It’ll be a surprisingly eventful month as there are a lot of sets from various IPs such as Fortnite, Wednesday, and Wicked.

As far as the October 2024 LEGO promotions, there are three we know about. Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber (40730) will only be available with a purchase of Jabba’s Sail Barge from October 3-5 and to the general public October 6-10, while supplies last.

We also have the Brite Bomber BrickHeadz (40728) which is available with $90 purchases from October 1-3 for Insiders and October 4-7 to general public, while supplies last.

Lastly, we have the LEGO Creator Halloween Pumpkin (40697) but we don’t have any information on that one yet.
