To celebrate the release of the new LEGO DREAMZzz theme, LEGO Stores will be holding a LEGO DREAMZzz PJ & Play Party on Saturday, August 5. In this very limited event, the first 20 kids in store will receive a special gift. I assume kids will have to wear their PJs to the store to get the gift. There’s no time for the event so it’ll most likely when the store opens local time.

The release date of the LEGO Houses of the World 3 (40594) is still a mystery but we have an early copy of the set to check out. The set looks to be at a European location this time.
The build is split into two bags and also has a small sticker sheet for the wooden panels.
The house has a 12×10 footprint and sits on two stories. On the lower level, your eyes goes straight to the logs that are stacked up on the right side. The log tiles are actually printed pieces which is nice since you don’t want to put on stickers for all of them. The adjacent wall has a stack of logs along with an ax.
Next to the door is a barrel filled with tools as well as a bench. The wall next to that has a pillar along with some shutters next to the window.
Going up, the balcony has some flowers to give it some color contrast.
The upper floor doesn’t have that much besides more windows and shutters.
The inside of the house has a lot more going on. The living room has a sectional sofa with a log table in the middle of the room. There’s also a fireplace, a record player, and a painting in the area. On the opposite end, there’s a table with some cheese and chocolate which may suggest that the house is located in Switzerland.
The upper floor has a large bedroom that is able to fit a bed along with … Continue

Summer isn’t over yet but if you want to get into the fall season early, Amazon has the LEGO Icons Botanical Collection Dried Flower Centerpiece (10314) on sale for 14% off. The set was recently put on sale earlier this month and is now priced at $42.99 which saves you $7 on it. One nice thing about the set is that it has a split design so two people can build it together at the same time.

Just like that, San Diego Comic Con 2023 is now over but here’s a recap of the LEGO happenings during the four days. First off is the LEGO booth itself which they have named it LEGO Brickbuster Video. This is a play on the old Blockbuster Video stores. Throughout the store, there were displays of upcoming LEGO sets from various themes. On the shelves were VHS cassette cases featuring movies and themes in LEGO form.
The back wall named New Releases was filled with creations from fans. Some of the themes for the builds were unplanned and spontaneous such as the Spongebob ones and Pikachu ones. I was told that fans took inspiration from the builds that were already on the shelves and they made their own version.
There were also brick-build statues that fans could take pictures with. The builds were made to look like the old 2D cardboard cutouts that you could find at Blockbuster stores. Fans could take pictures with them and share to social media to get corresponding pins of them. The ones for this year were Captain America, Sonic the Hedgehog, and a speeder bike from Star Wars.
There was a Coming Attractions billboard showing some of the current and upcoming LEGO shows and specials. Some of the new shows coming soon include LEGO Masters: Holiday Bricktacular, LEGO Marvel Avengers: Code Red, LEGO Star Wars: Mandoween – Celebrate the Season, LEGO Masters: Season 4, LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest, and one confidential show that they never revealed. Any guesses on … Continue
