LEGO: I Had a DREAMZzz Last Night About Ninjago! Panel at SDCC 2023

The Thursday panel schedule for San Diego Comic Con 2023 is now live and there will be one for LEGO which is the LEGO: I Had a DREAMZzz Last Night About Ninjago! As expected, LEGO will be showcasing their newest IP, LEGO DREAMZzz, which includes some of the voice actors for the show. In addition, LEGO Ninjago will be there as well for Ninjago: Dragons Rising so instead of it having a dedicated panel like with previous years, it’ll be a combined one so there won’t be that much time to go in depth since probably each show will only get about 20 minutes of details with some time left over for the Q&A.

The panel will be held on Thursday, July 20 from 10:30-11:30am in Room 6BCF. Of course, I will be in attendance I’ll most likely be doing the live post as I have done in previous years. You can follow me on Twitter or on Threads for that. Hopefully, I have time to juggle between the two.

Learn all about LEGO DreamZzz, a new content IP that launched in May. The panel will be hosted by Keith Malone (head of entertainment development for the LEGO Group) along with voice talent Sarah Jeffery (Zoey), Marcos Cardenas (Mateo), Vincent Tong (Logan, Kai), Brian Drummond (Mr. Oz, Nightmare King, Ras, Riyu, Lobbo), and Larissa Dias (Izzie), as well as DreamZzz LEGO model designer Freddy Charters, head of LEGO production Asa Tait, and Doc Wyatt and Kevin Burke, head writers of Ninjago Dragons Rising. LEGO Looking for Brick Film Creators for 2024 Products

LEGO will be doing more brick films for 2024 products and they are looking for creators who are interested in doing some freelance work. The position is a paid one and you will need to create up to 5 videos around 2 minutes each. This most likely will allow you to get some sets early to create the content from them. If you are interested, you can sign up here. The deadline to enter is before July 30 since that is when LEGO will be sharing the list of potential picks with their partner.

The LEGO Group is currently seeking applications from brick film creators interested in a paid opportunity to create brick films for future LEGO sets. If you are a brick film creator with the equipment and skills to create fun and engaging content, please consider signing up on the link below. Each creator will be tasked with creating up to 5 videos (all around 2 minutes in length) and the work will be spread throughout the end of 2023 and into 2024. The selected persons will need to create and submit storyboards for approval and videos are likely to include a few rounds of review and approval.

As the project is confidential, the survey includes questions about your favorite theme and passion when building. This is to help identify relevant brick film creators.

All submitted information will be deleted on or before December 31st, 2023.
