July is only a few days away and there are some new LEGO sets that will be dropping here in the US on the LEGO Shop. It’s not a big wave but there are some heavy hitters that may keep you busy for a while. The next big release wave is in August for North America when inventory changes roll out for the holiday season.
As far as LEGO July 2023 promotions are concerned, there is the LEGO Disney 100 Years Celebration (40600) that hasn’t been offiically revealed yet. It’s been reported that it is a GWP when you get the Disney Castle (43222).

LEGO has quietly revealed a brand new LEGO Architecture set with the Himeji Castle (21060). Releasing on August 1, the set has 2,125 pieces and retails for $159.99. It’s surprising that this will be the first Architecture set to be released in 2023 and the first since last July minus the LEGO World of Wonders (40585) which was a Rewards Center item.

Designer Sven Franic and the original creator of Pac-Man Toru Iwatani talk about some of the details in the set with the main one being the chain link track that goes around the map.
