It has been confirmed through LEGO’s newsletter that Double VIP Points will be back starting this weekend. From June 9-13, you can earn double points on every purchase on the LEGO Shop and in stores. If you’ve been holding off on some of the newer releases like the Batcave – Shadow Box (76252), now would be the best time to get it to maximize your purchase. Double that up with Rakuten and you can also get some cash back on it as well.
The Trojan Horse by Daytona is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,700 piece build features the wooden horse used by the Greeks to enter the city of Troy and win the war.
The project joins “Big Boy” Locomotive, Retro Arcade, Spartan Helmet of Leonidas, Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider, The Muppet Show, Red Bull Racing F1 Team RB18 1:12, Scooby Doo Mystery Machine, Western River Steamboat, Dreamwork’s Shrek Swamp, Asterix & Obelix, Venice, Stilt House, and Red Bull RB18 as the ones to reach the Second 2023 Review Stage.
The new LEGO Icons of Play (40634) is now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. The set is part of the Play Unstoppable campaign which is focused on celebrating the endless potential of girls when they are given opportunities to play without limits. Priced at $99.99, the 899 piece set features 15 minifigures, four of which are some of the more recent football/soccer players such as Megan Rapinoe, Yuki Nagasato, Sam Kerr, and Asisat Oshoala.

If you didn’t see it, LEGO has offered the LEGO DC Super Heroes Bat-Pod (5004590) as a sweepstakes again in the Rewards Center. It ends on June 29 and it costs 50 VIP points per entry with a max of 50 entries. If you want to gamble for this high end set, now’s your chance as it goes for $1000-$2000 on the secondary market.
The set was introduced back in 2015 for the VIP program and you had to email LEGO for a chance to win one of 750 copies. It then dropped in the Rewards Center in 2019 for 15,000 points and that went extremely quickly.
The LEGO Batman Batcave – Shadow Box (76252) is now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop for VIPs. Retailing for $399.99, the 3,981 piece set features a shadowbox of the Batman emblem but it can be opened up to have a very elaborate Batcave based on Batman Returns which includes a minifigure scale Batmobile and seven minifigures.
If you’re able to hold off a few days and the set is still in stock, the Double VIP Points event starts on June 9. Remember to use Rakuten to earn some cash back on your purchases. Make sure to activate the extension before you complete your purchase to get credit for it.

LEGO has recently released a few new sets for the Disney 100 celebration and the first one we’ll check out is the Disney Duos (43226). It has 553 pieces and retails for $44.99 and it features characters from various movies.
The promotion for the LEGO Summer VIP Add-On Pack (40607) is now live on the LEGO Shop. From now until June 16, you can get it with with purchases of $50 or more, while supplies last. Remember to use Rakuten to earn some cash back on your purchases.
