The summer 2023 LEGO City sets have been posted on the LEGO Shop and we can confirm that they will be available in August, as usual, for North America. The UK and the rest of Europe will be able to get them starting on June 1.

LEGO Star Wars Mech Product Listings

LEGO has put up the product pages for the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Mechs. All three with be available starting on August 1 and will retail for $15.99. What’s new with these is that they will include minifigures of the mechs represented, some of which are new with arm and leg printing. I can see LEGO continuing this line with more characters like Yoda, Chewbacca, and possibly a wild one with R2-D2.

LEGO Star Wars Mech Sets Revealed

German retailer JB Spielwaren has revealed three new LEGO Star Wars mech sets based on some popular characters. Each set will include a minifigure of the character and a brick-built mech version that they can stand in. It looks like they will be released in August.

LEGO June 2023 Shopping Guide

Just like that, June is just a few weeks away and it is one of the biggest LEGO releases of the year with over 50 summer 2023 available for purchase. Here’s a quick guide on what to expect. The list is incomplete as LEGO hasn’t put up quite a few product pages such as for Friends.

As far as promotions go, we only know about the LEGO Spring Fun VIP Add-On Pack (40606) which will run until only June 3, if it lasts by then.

Update: The LEGO Pirate Ship Playground (40589) will run until June 3 with purchases of $100.

LEGO DC Batcave Shadow Box (76252) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed the highly anticipated LEGO DC 1992 Batman Returns Batcave Shadow Box (76252). Releasing on June 5 for VIPs, the set has 3,981 pieces and will retail for $399.99.

From the outside, you have have a shadowbox with the Batman emblem showing part of the Batcave but when you open it up, you have a more complete Batcave from Batman Returns. There’s even a Batmobile included in the middle. Hopefully it has the same details as in the movie where the sides are able to pop off to become the Batmissile.

The set also comes with minifigures of Bruce Wayne, Alfred, Max Shreck, the Penguin, Catwoman, and two Batman suits, one with the molded cowl and cap and the other with a fabric cape.

BrickLink Designer Program Series 2 Submissions Now Open

It has been announced that submissions for Series 2 of the BrickLink Designer Program are now open. From now until June 2, you can submit your designs and if it’s good enough, it may be one of the five final designs chosen for production.

The crowd support will be from June 12-30 in which fans can choose their favorite designs along with BrickLink’s internal selection criteria. The review process will run from July through August and the final five designs will be announced on August 23.
