LEGO Releases The Majestic Horse (010423) to Select RLFM for April Fool’s Day 2023

Yesterday, LEGO technically released an April Fool’s Day set to select Recognized LEGO Fan Media outlets with The Majestic Horse (010423). The set has 375 pieces and looking at the box, it may seem that it is just a galloping horse but when you finally build it, it is not what you would expect. Instead of a horse head, they were tricked into building a doge head instead. If you’re not familiar with the doge, it’s an iconic Internet meme of Kabosu, the Shiba Inu. The “horse” also is wearing Sonic red shoes instead of having horseshoes.

Unfortunately, there was only about roughly 10 set total sets made so you most likely won’t be able to get one. I’m not sure if the select RLFM are allowed to share the instructions for it but we’ll see. It’s all in fun and this is probably the best April Fool’s Day joke that LEGO has done. We’ll see how they top it next year. GGs LEGO.

LEGO Indiana Jones Temple of the Crystal Skull Announced

In some surprising news, LEGO has announced there will be a new LEGO Indiana Jones set coming in June called the Temple of the Crystal Skull. It has 2,008 pieces and is priced at $199.99 and includes minifigures of Indiana Jones, Irina Spalko, Marion Ravenwood, Harold Oxley, and Mutt Williams. Strangely there are no images of the set yet as LEGO is keeping this set close to the chest to prevent any leaks.

Throughout 2022, the LEGO Group worked closely with Lucasfilm to optimize our planned product line up for the upcoming LEGO Indiana Jones product launches in April 2023.

In addition to the three products that have already launched (77012, 77013, 77015) that feature some of the most iconic scenes from the Indiana Jones franchise, there is another set that will be releasing in June 2023 and it will be based on the iconic scene from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Coming in at 2,008 pieces, the 18+ Temple of the Crystal Skull will will feature scenes from the climax of the movie at the alien temple in the Amazon jungle including the rotating chamber with 13 alien skeletons. This LEGO Indiana Jones memorabilia model comes with 5 minifigures – Indiana Jones, Irina Spalko, Marion Ravenwood, Harold Oxley, and Mutt Williams.

We hope our fans will love the new set and can’t wait to get their hands on it. Unfortunately, we don’t have any images of the set yet but they will be coming soon™.
