LEGO Wednesday Sets Officially Announced

For any of you who have seen the leaks, then you’re not surprised at LEGO’s new collaboration. But for those of you who haven’t seen the leaks then be surprised (even those of you who already know what it is) for LEGO and Amazon MGM Studios Consumer Products’ has announced a line based on the popular Netflix show, Wednesday. It’s comprised of three sets:

The LEGO Wednesday: Wednesday Adams Figure (76780) has two different faces and outfits. You’ll be able to put together Wednesday in her Nevermore Academy uniform with her memorable deadpan expression, or her black dress and her side-eye look from the viral Rave’N Dance scene. This set includes little compartments, the Nevermore Academy gate, her typewriter, Nero’s grave, black dahlia flowers, and crystal ball. A new LEGO element is included, an adapted piece for a hand meant to resemble Thing. This set is priced at $49.99 and will be released on October 1, but for those of you who are die-hard fans, the sets are available for preorder today (September 13).

The LEGO Wednesday: Wednesday & Enid’s Dorm Room (76781) features details from the show like the spiderweb window and balcony with gargoyles. It has four mini-doll figures of Wednesday and Enid (two versions each), Thing, a cello, typewriter, mystery board, and more. This set’s base has buttons that can open hidden drawers that can store the mini-doll figures and its accessories. This set is priced at $89.99 and will be released on October 1. LEGO Ideas Betta Splendens Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Betta Splendens by Farmfarm is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 1,331 piece set features a Betta fish held up by some stands along with a tree stump ornament and some plants.

The project joins Cliffside House, Gravity Falls – The Mystery Shack, Round House Ski Lodge, Italian Villa, and Summit Station as the ones to reach the Third 2024 Review Stage.

LEGO Friends River Camping Adventure (40694) GWP Revealed

The LEGO Shop has revealed a new upcoming gift with purchase set coming soon with the LEGO Friends River Camping Adventure (40694). The set has 182 pieces and features a tent next to a tree and a rocky area with some water. There’s also a campfire along with some accessories. The set includes minidolls of Paisley and Nova along with a beaver. There’s no word yet on when it will be released or the price requirements to get it.

The LEGO® Friends River Camping Adventure (40694) playset toy is packed with stories for girls and boys aged 6+. The set comes with 2 mini-dolls, a beaver figure and lots of accessories. Kids can role-play adventures with Nova and Paisley as they hunt for bugs, toast marshmallows on the campfire and collect water and mushrooms to make a stew. Will they spot the beaver before it chews on the camp flagpole and knocks it over?

LEGO BrickHeadz Limited Edition Batman 85th Anniversary (40726) Revealed

LEGO Shop Australia has revealed an upcoming gift with purchase set with the LEGO BrickHeadz Limited Edition Batman 85th Anniversary (40726). The 325 piece set is basically the regular Batman 8-in-1 Figure (40748) but with an updated, fancier box and it also includes eight posters for each of the eight Batman that you can build. There’s no information yet on the price requirements or when it will be available. Batman Day is coming on September 21 so, it should be around at that time.

Life-Sized LEGO Technic McLaren P1 at Silverstone

LEGO and McLaren have created a one-of-a-kind, fully drivable McLaren P1 that is made from LEGO Technic parts. The 1:1 scale P1 was made from 342,817 pieces and weighs about 1,220kg. It took a team of 23 specialists from both companies to design, engineer, and build the supercar using 8,344 hours and 393 different LEGO Technic elements. They have also enlisted McLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris to complete a lap around the famed Silverstone Circuit.
