LEGO Year of the Rabbit (40575) Official Images

The official images of the upcoming LEGO Year of the Rabbit (40575) gift-with-purchase set are now available on the LEGO Shop. The promotion will run from January 15-25 with purchases of $85/€85/£80 online and in stores.

Like with the previous Chinese Zodiac animal sets, it will also include a red envelope as well. The front of it will have the same design as the box and the back has a yellow embossed printing of the rabbit.

If you’ve been collecting them, we’re getting pretty close to completing 12 animals as there are three left with the dragon, snake, and horse coming in the next few years.

The Brick Fan 2022 Recap

Like we previous years, we are back with a recap for The Brick Fan on what happened in 2022. I know some of you don’t read this but this is just for posterity.

Our post count went down to 912 from a previous 1,095 from 2021, however, 2022 was our highest traffic year with 32,039,740 page views. It’s not a huge increase from 2021 as it was only about 1% but we averaged more views per post which concludes that we didn’t need to post more to get the same amount of traffic. Makes me think of what traffic would be like if we had 100 posts a week, IYKYK.

The highest traffic day was on my birthday which coincidentally was also the same day as LEGO Con 2022 where LEGO revealed a lot of new sets that day. That was the previous record of the highest total ever on the site but that has since been broken a few days ago.

We had less returning visits but we did have more first time visits, possibly because of new fans that have joined the hobby in recent years. We crossed the 150 million page view mark and we should be hitting 200 million by the end of the year.

Our social media accounts have been growing slowly and I’m content on how they are growing. They could be better but I don’t advertise them too much or try to get people to follow.

Helping builders to blossom: New LEGO® Botanical Collection sets make perfect gifts for people to form bonds and grow closer

The LEGO Group has today announced it is growing its Botanical Collection further by introducing two new sets for adult builders: a LEGO® Wildflower Bouquet and a LEGO® Dried Flower Centrepiece.

The LEGO Group launched its Botanical Collection in 2021, with the introduction of the LEGO® Flower Bouquet and LEGO® Bonsai Tree. The Collection has since been expanded with more brick-based plants, including the LEGO® Orchid and the LEGO® Succulents. The two new sets announced today have been designed to help adult builders ‘grow closer’ and develop stronger bonds with friends or family while undertaking the social act of building them together.

“We want the two new sets we’re launching today to help people ‘grow closer’. Whether that’s buying the set for a loved one for an occasion such as Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day, or at any other point in the year just as a little thank you. Why not give a longer-lasting LEGO plant and get to spend some valuable time building it together? We know the joy that plants can bring to people and our growing LEGO Botanical Collection has been created
