LEGO BIONICLE Tahu and Takua (40581) Official Images

The official images of the upcoming LEGO BIONICLE Tahu and Takua (40581) gift with purchase set are now available on the LEGO Shop. The set is a one-off tribute build featuring one of the most iconic BIONICLE characters in Tahu lava surfing from the Mangai volcano and also Takua in his Matoran form. The promotion starts on January 27 with purchases of $100/£90/€100.

In 2001, The LEGO Group introduced a new theme that would become a sensation: BIONICLE®. This story of mighty heroes with elemental powers took the world by storm, inspiring comics, novels, and movies. Now two of the theme’s most popular characters return with this LEGO® Icons BIONICLE Tahu and Takua (40581) set. The articulated action figures come with a fire sword and a disc-thrower accessory. The set also includes a lava display stand, so you can pay tribute to BIONICLE in your home or office.

LEGO Ideas Brick Boulevard Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Brick Boulevard by Bricky_Brick is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 3,000 piece build features a modular that also includes an area for the London Underground underneath some apartments.

The project joins Dr. Seuss and LEGO, Sweet Honey, The Botanical Garden, The Crown – A Piece of History, Stargate SG1: Embarkation Room, Roscosmos Soyuz MS Spacecraft, Motorized Howl’s Moving Castle, The Stargate, and Medieval Seaside Market as the ones to reach the Third 2023 Review Stage.

LEGO Ideas Medieval Seaside Market Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Medieval Seaside Market by bricks_fan_uy is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build consists of 2,372 pieces and it features a market area with a port.

The project joins Dr. Seuss and LEGO, Sweet Honey, The Botanical Garden, The Crown – A Piece of History, Stargate SG1: Embarkation Room, Roscosmos Soyuz MS Spacecraft, Motorized Howl’s Moving Castle, and The Stargate as the ones to reach the Third 2023 Review Stage.

LEGO Disney 100 Collectible Minifigures (71038) Rumored List

This year, LEGO celebrates Disney’s 100th anniversary and it looks like there will be a LEGO Collectible Minifigures wave coming soon. The past couple of days, there’s a been a lot of talk about a rumored LEGO Disney 100 Collectible Minifigures (71038) and which characters might be in the wave. According to Promobricks via the Back2Brick podcast, there are 18 minifigures instead of the 12 that we’ve been getting recently and they include some characters that we haven’t seen before.

Of course, this list is rumored until LEGO announces it so the list might change between now and then. It is said that the LEGO Disney 100 Collectible Minifigures (71038) will be releasing on May 1.

LEGO DOTS Theme Ending in 2023

It has been announced that the LEGO DOTS theme will sadly be coming to an end later this year. LEGO DOTS was launched back in 2020 with mixed reactions and the past few years, it also included some licensed products which will have designs from Harry Potter in the next few months. The January and March products will be released but that will be the end of it. While the theme will be ending, it will not affect other similar themes like LEGO Art.

Update on exit of the LEGO® DOTS theme from June 2023 assortment and onwards

Dear all,

After careful consideration, we have decided to exit the LEGO® DOTS theme and integrate tile-based play into other themes within our portfolio.

January and March launches of LEGO DOTS novelties will go ahead but also be our last on this theme, with all current items from 2022 remaining active in the product line up until the end of the year.

LEGO DOTS was launched in March 2020 with the ambition to connect with kids through their passion for arts & crafts – looking at encouraging self-expression and to attract new builders to the LEGO brand. It was a completely new style of building which used brightly coloured tiles to ignite creativity with LEGO fans, in a fun and unique way.

Whilst seeing great appetite for this type of proposition and playing a key role in retaining kids in the LEGO brand, we also recognise the challenges of establishing LEGO DOTS as a long-term brand in the

LEGO Ideas The Stargate Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Stargate by Captain Mutant is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 1,000 piece build is the second Stargate related project to reach the goal in as many weeks and this one is an updated version from the last time it also hit 10k.

The project joins Dr. Seuss and LEGO, Sweet Honey, The Botanical Garden, The Crown – A Piece of History, Stargate SG1: Embarkation Room, Roscosmos Soyuz MS Spacecraft, and Motorized Howl’s Moving Castle as the ones to reach the Third 2023 Review Stage.
