LEGO Chinese Traditional Festival 2023 Official Set Images

The product pages of the 2023 LEGO Chinese Traditional Festival sets are now live on the LEGO Shop and we can now see the official images of the set as well as details for them. Here in the US, the sets will be released in January while Europe will get them on December 25 and APAC on January 1.

LEGO Reveals First 3D Printed Element – Wooden Duck – Available Only at LEGO House

LEGO has revealed their first 3D printed element that is available for purchase at the LEGO House. It is a minifigure sized replica of the wooden duck toy that was created by LEGO founder Ole Kirk Kristiansen. Not only is it the first 3D printed element, it also has articulation in the form of a moveable beak.

The wooden duck is a pilot by LEGO to gather feedback and to see if fans are interested in more 3D printed parts in the future. It will only be available at the LEGO House for 89 DKK and you’ll have to sign up for time slots at the Minifigure Factory experience to buy it during the next few weekends in November.

LEGO Chinese Traditional Festival 2023 Sets Revealed

The 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) happened overnight and LEGO has revealed some sets inspired by Chinese culture including the upcoming Lunar New Year 2023 sets. All the sets will be available on Christmas, December 25 in China and other markets. Most likely, North America will get them early 2023.

The LEGO Group has revealed five new LEGO® sets with inspiration from Chinese culture and traditions at the 5th China International Import Expo (CIIE) today. This represents the fifth consecutive year that the company debuted novelties with rich Chinese elements at the expo.

The new sets include:
LEGO® Lunar New Year Display (80110) has two exquisite models capturing many iconic traditional festive symbols. One model has buildable golden ingots in the traditional Yuan Bao design, koi fish for good luck, red pockets symbolizing good wishes, and the “Zhao Cai Jin Bao” greeting that welcomes fortune and treasures into the home. The other model has buildable peony flowers with the “Hua Kai Fu Gui” greeting, meaning blooming prosperity and happiness.

LEGO Icons Boutique Hotel (10297) Amazon Sale – November 2022

Amazon has been discounting a lot more larger sets recently and the LEGO Icons Boutique Hotel (10297) is on sale for 13% off. The set is listed for $200 which is $30 off the normal retail price and the lowest the set has been at in a few months. Note that this sale price was the original price when it was first released at the beginning of the year before the price increases.

For those who are interested, the LEGO Marvel Hulkbuster (76210) is now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop for VIPs. The set has 4,049 pieces and retails for $549.99.
