LEGO Art LOVE (31214) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially announced a new LEGO Art set with the LOVE (31214) sculpture. Releasing on January 1, the set has 791 pieces and will retail for $79.99 but you can pre-order it starting today. The build is based on Robert Indiana’s iconic sculpture which celebrates its 55th anniversary next year.

Billund, Denmark, 11th November 2024: Today, the LEGO Group announced a new addition to its growing art collection: the LEGO® Art LOVE (31214). Inspired by Robert Indiana’s iconic piece of pop art, the LOVE sculpture, this set makes a great treat for yourself or a gift your loved one.

Travel into the history of pop-art with this new 791-piece set, revealed ahead of the original artwork’s 55th anniversary celebration in 2025. The LOVE sculpture is recognised around the world as an iconic symbol with a message which transcends culture and – for the first time ever – you can now display a LEGO brick replica in your own home.

LEGO Ideas The Princess Bride – From Book to Blockbuster to Brick Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Princess Bride – From Book to Blockbuster to Brick by Frogtopia is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is features the book which opens up to reveal one of the more iconic scenes from the movie. It also proposes minifigures of Princess Buttercup, Westley, Vizzini, Fezzik, Inigo Montoya, the grandfather and grandson.

Deep Rock Galactic Drilldozer by JaoGosma is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 1,291 piece build features the Drilldozer named Doretta from the 2020 game. There’s also a mound with the four minifigures of the Scout, Engineer, Gunner, and Driller.

LEGO Ideas Springfield Elementary School Simpsons Achieves 10,000 Supporters

Springfield Elementary School Simpsons by Airbricks95 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,612 piece build features the school with two classrooms, Skinner’s office and the lockers.

LEGO Black Friday 2024 Insider Rewards Revealed

The LEGO Shop has revealed two new Insider Rewards sets coming this Black Friday which are related to the newly announced LEGO Icons The Endurance (10335). One of them is the LEGO Marine Chronometer which you will be able to redeem for 2,400 points starting on November 29, while supplies last. It features a chronometer that is stored inside a box. The other set is the Barracuda Seas which is a miniature version of the Black Seas Barracuda. I’m going to assume it will cost 2,400 points as well.

LEGO Nominated for 2025 Toy of the Year Awards

Earlier today, The Toy Foundation announced the 2025 Toy of the Year nominations and not surprisingly, LEGO is the running again in a few categories. In total, there were 10 products nominated in 8 categories.

Voting is now live and you have until January 10 to get your votes in. Your vote will also decide the People’s Choice Awards as well. The winners will be announced at the TOTY Awards gala on Friday, February 28, 2025 right before the New York Toy Fair.
