LEGO Booth Preview at San Diego Comic Con 2024

Preview Night at San Diego Comic Con 2024 is now open and we finally get to see what the LEGO Booth looks like there and, of course following this year’s theme, it is Space themed.

The middle of Booth #2829 has the Space Station 8R1CK5 which showcases a lot of the space sets for this year from various themes. There’s also a life-sized astronaut build that people can take pictures with.

There’s an interactive experience that fans can take a part of. You can build their own LEGO rocket and send their craft into space in front of a LED screen backdrop and after you’ve done that, you can get an exclusive embroidered mission patch.

LEGO at San Diego Comic Con 2024

Now that it looks like all the announcements for LEGO at San Diego Comic Con 2024 are done, here’s a little wrap up on what will be happening at the event. They still haven’t revealed what the theme of the booth will be so I guess we’ll just have to see when we get there. It’s possible that they could reveal something this week so I’ll update if they do.

Like the past few years, it doesn’t look like there will be any LEGO exclusives like the sets and minifigures but there could be some stuff to collect while at the booth. Last year, there was a scavenger hunt and a build a minifigure station so we’ll see if they do something similar next week.

LEGO Ninjago: Dragons Rising Continues Panel at San Diego Comic Con 2024

The Thursday Programming Schedule for San Diego Comic Con 2024 is now live and there will be a LEGO Ninjago panel for that day. LEGO is doing it early this year as there will be a LEGO Ninjago: Dragons Rising Continues panel happening from 1-2pm in Room 6BCF.

The Ninjago team will be discussing the current run of Dragon’s Rising, the upcoming 15 anniversary of LEGO Ninjago, as well as the future of the theme/show. Like usual, I’ll be in attendance to live tweet the panel so follow me on Twitter/X to get the latest updates.

LEGO Not Part of San Diego Comic Con 2024 Exclusives Portal

The San Diego Comic Con 2024 Exclusives Portal is now live and it doesn’t look like LEGO will be having anything this year. As suspected, LEGO seems to have stepped back from giving out exclusives for the convention. The rumor since after COVID was that LEGO was not happy with fans reselling the items and that’s why they have stopped.

LEGO will be at SDCC 2024 at their usual Booth #2829. There’s no information yet on what they will be doing there or what theme it will be. Last year, it was the Brickbuster Video booth which was designed as an old school Blockbuster store. They did have a Build Your Own Minifigure experience which you could say was an exclusive but it’s not as popular as the previous minifigures and sets. The panels and signings still have yet to be revealed so we’ll update as soon as those are announced.
