AFOL Community Integration Manager Jan Beyer Leaves The LEGO Group

It’s a sad day in the LEGO world as longtime AFOL Community Integration Manager Jan Beyer has announced that he left the company. Some of you may have met Jan at various LEGO conventions throughout the years and he was an integral part in helping grow the AFOL community whether it be working with LUGs or just answering questions from fans.

Jan will now be working with LEGO Certified Professional Caspar Bennedsen from Brick Works as a Development Manager. Although I haven’t personally met Jan, I wish him the best in his new position. He’ll still be around at LEGO conventions so you’ll still see him as a regular fan.

LEGO August 2024 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop

August is now here and it is one of the biggest months for LEGO releases here in North America and the LEGO Shop is now stocked with the summer 2024 LEGO sets.

LEGO Harry Potter The Burrow – Collectors’ Edition (76437) First Look

A Chilean LEGO Certified Store has appeared to reveal the rumored LEGO Harry Potter The Burrow – Collectors’ Edition (76437). The official information on the set is still unclear but it has been reported to have 2,405 pieces and include minifigures of Harry Potter and the whole Weasley family including Ron, Ginny, Arthur, Molly, Fred, George, Percy, Bill, and Charlie. The official announcement should be coming very soon.

LEGO Marvel I Am Groot (76217) Amazon Sale – July 2024

Amazon has recent discounted the LEGO Marvel I Am Groot (76217) by 35% which drops the price down to $35.49. Conversely, they have also discounted Venomized Groot (76249) by 19% and that brings the price to $40.43. Unlike some of the other character builds, Groot actually looks pretty decent and the size is perfect for displaying on a desk.
