German retailer Muller has revealed the new LEGO Star Wars Skeleton Crew set with The Onyx Cinder (75374). The set has 1,325 pieces and includes minifigures of Jod, Wim, Fern, KB, and Neel. Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is a new series coming to Disney+ as a coming-of-age story about four kids to go on an adventure to get back home. The set is reported to be released in August.
San Diego Comic Con 2024 is now over and I finally have some time to recap the LEGO happenings during the event. As we saw in the preview post, the LEGO Booth this year was space themed with them showcasing many of the newer LEGO space sets for various themes.
They also showcased some upcoming sets such as the LEGO The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree (77092) the newly announced LEGO Super Mario World Mario & Yoshi (71438) and LEGO Dungeons & Dragons Collectible Minifigures (71047).
In terms of exclusives, fans took part in a building a spaceship to put on the wall. In return they could get a fabric sticker patch featuring the white classic space minifigure.
In addition, there was also the LEGO Space Explorer’s Challenge where you have to take part in various missions during SDCC for a chance to win a prize pack consisting of some LEGO Marvel comics, some posters given out there, the gold LEGO Masters Keychain, the LEGO Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader minifigure, as well as the white LEGO Masters minifigure which you could say was the main LEGO chase this year. The prize pack was given out to 20 people each day so there was 80 total packs. I’ve been told there were only 135 of these minifigures made, 80 to the prize packs and 55 for the LEGO Masters signings.

Market Village by J.K.Brick is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features a medieval village that includes the inn, watchtower, and the butcher’s house surrounded by gardens.

This drops the price down to $95.99 for the 1,045 piece set. It features a three story building that takes the riders to the top to the ramp as well as wall climbing on the side wall.

Amazon has recently put the LEGO City Apartment Building (60365) on sale for 20% off which is the first time it has been on sale on the site. This drops the price down to $75.99 and that saves you $19 on it. The newer style of sets introduced last year have a more modernized look to them and has been a fan favorite since then.

Lisbon Tram (Electrico 28) by Ezequiel Alabaça is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 2,241 piece build features the tram and a part of the pavement and is an update to a similar project that hit 10k but didn’t pass the review.

LEGO will be holding a LEGO Back to School Apple building event at LEGO Brand Stores soon. On Sunday, August 4 from 12-2pm, you can take part in building an apple as part of the make and take event. Like with other events, it is on a first come, first serve basis so get there early if you want to participate.
