LEGO has officially revealed two of Paris’ most recognizable pieces of art with the LEGO Art Mona Lisa (31213) and the LEGO Architecture Notre-Dame de Paris (21061). Both available for pre-order starting today, the Mona Lisa has 1,503 pieces and retails for $99.99 while the Notre Dame has 4,383 pieces and retails for $229.99.

Inspired by the world’s most recognisable painting, the LEGO Art Mona Lisa invites art and LEGO lovers to recreate Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece in 3D. This bold and unique interpretation comprises 1,503 LEGO elements and new colour hues to accurately reflect the colours used by da Vinci over 500 years ago, before the paint changed with age.

LEGO has released a press release for Season 2 of LEGO DREAMZzz which airs worldwide on May 17. The second half of the season will follow in September. LEGO has also announced the accompanying sets that will be releasing in August. The press release mentions nine sets but we only have details of eight of them which we’ve already seen. The LEGO Ideas First 2024 Review Stage is now set and there are 48 projects that qualified for a chance to become a future LEGO Ideas set. There’s a couple of them that catch my eye, the main one being the Gundam, but we’ll see what LEGO chooses to become a set. With that said, the Second 2024 Rewiew period is now underway and that will run until September 2.

German retailer Lucky Bricks has posted images of a new LEGO Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer (75394). It has 1,555 pieces and is part of the 25 years of LEGO Star Wars set which includes the exclusive Cal Kestis from the Star Wars Jedi game series. The official details of the set should be coming to the LEGO Shop soon.

The LEGO Space Collectible Minifigures Series 26 (71046) are now available and we’ve gotten our hands on them to check out, courtesy of LEGO. They retail for $4.99 each but there are various configurations that that you will be able to find. We have one of these hanger boxes which have 12 inside and we can confirm that you can get a full set if they are new. There’s also the 36 box version as well.
Booknook: The Story Laboratory by Pedro_RuizMx is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features a combination of a booknook and a bookend that shows a scene of some writers with characters from their stories.
