It has been confirmed that we will be seeing a new world premiere look of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga at Gamescom Opening Night Live. The event will be held on August 25 at 11am PT / 2pm ET. It seems to have been forever since we heard something about the game with the last update being in April stating that it will be delayed. Hopefully we’ll finally get a release date for it which I’m guessing will be some time in 2022.
The final trailer for Marvel Studios’ Eternals came out earlier today and we get a little more sense of what the movie is about. We also get a better look at what the upcoming LEGO sets are based on. LEGO hasn’t really announced the sets yet but they have been shown off in the January 2021 catalog. There are four sets in the wave and they should be available around the time the movie releases on November 5.

USA Today is reporting that Toys R Us is making another comeback starting next year. The iconic toy store will be teaming up with Macy’s to open smaller toy shops in more than 400 department stores. Customers can start shopping online at Macys.com/toysrus and at Toysrus.com. It seems like both brands are committed to making this work so we’ll see if it actually works out or not.
Last month, we reported on some rumors about the upcoming LEGO Ideas Home Alone McCallister’s House and it looks like there are some updates to them. From a recent post by brick_clicker on Instagram, it looks like the details reported before were for the Black Stratocast (21329) which included a September release for VIPs at $100 price point.
The Home Alone house is now reported to have a 21330 set number with a November release. The price of it is now at $250 which is now on point with what we should expect in terms of detailing for the house and not just a facade if it was at $100. It also will have a November release date which is also fair due to the movie being a Christmas movie. Lastly, it is said that it will have five minifigures. We can for sure count in Kevin and the two Wet Bandits, Marv and Harry, but who do you think are the last two? If you were worried about the set being small, what do you think about it now?
