The adidas Superstar x LEGO shoes are now available for purchase at adidas.com. These are the actual wearable shoes that the buildable LEGO adidas Originals Superstar (10282) is based on. They cost $140 and it looks like all the sizes are avaialble for both men and women. The Superstar does have some distinct LEGO features on it including the brick designs on the 3-stripes, heel tab, and on the shelltoe.

LEGO Ideas Sailboat Adventure (40487) Official Images

The official images of the LEGO Ideas Sailboat Adventure (40487) gift with purchase set are now online and we can see up close what it looks like. The set has 330 pieces and you can get for free with purchases of $200 or more. There will be two promo periods that are set up for it. VIPs will get first dibs on it from August 1-3 and the general public can get it from August 4-29.

The set didn’t stray away too much from Yan Chevalier’s design too much and it pretty much kept all the main features on it including the splashing pair of dolphins. The price threshold is tied for the highest purchasing requirement but luckily the summer 2021 sets will be available so it won’t be too difficult to hit the limit.

LEGO Marvel Studios Collectible Minifigures (71031) Close-Up Look

The LEGO Marvel Studios Collectible Minifigures (71031) were announced a few days ago and yesterday, LEGO released some close-up images of a few of the characters from the Disney+ shows. Looking up at them more closely, there are some little details that you may have missed such as the electronic arm printing on Bucky, the new shield design for Captain America/Falcon, and leg printing on White Vision. The only bad thing is that LEGO didn’t do close-ups on all the minifigures. They will be available starting on September 1 for $4.99 each.

LEGO Looking to Grow in Hiring Push

If you’ve ever wanted to work at LEGO, I’ve been told that they are making a huge hiring push for the LEGO Brand Stores as well as at various headquarter locations here in the US. I suppose they are starting to gear up for seasonal positions as things start to ramp up for the holiday season.

If you’ve ever worked retail before, there is a chance for you to be put on as a regular member of the staff and possibly even be promoted to other positions. I’ve known people who have started at retail and ended up working at Enfield which allowed them to travel the world to various LEGO events. I’ve tried to apply years ago but it didn’t work out since it was sort of a conflict of interest with what I got going on here. If you are interested, head on over to the careers page to see what is available.

LEGO Marvel Studios Collectible Minifigures (71031) Teases Return of X-Men

The LEGO Marvel Studios Collectible Minifigures (71031) were revealed yesterday and if you looked closely, there is a teaser for possibly the return of the X-Men. The product listing for the minifigures went up and there it also showed the bag design that they come in. On the top right corner, you can clearly see Wolverine with his claw out.

If you’re a LEGO Marvel collector, you know that there haven’t been many X-Men related sets that have been released so far with the last one being the Mighty Micros: Wolverine vs. Magneto (76073) in 2017. With the Disney acquisition of Fox back in 2019, this meant that Marvel now owns the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four which could mean that LEGO can finally produce more products from those franchises.

If LEGO has have the ability to make X-Men products again, what do you want to see being released? Personally, I’m hoping for a UCS-style Sentinel.
