LEGO March 2024 Sets Now Available on LEGO Shop

March is now here and there is a plethora of new LEGO sets that have just released on the LEGO Shop. The big theme for March is LEGO Animal Crossing which was one of the more popular announcements last year. Also anticipated to be pretty popular are the new LEGO Star Wars sets with the new midi-scale ships.

For the gift with purchase sets, we have the LEGO Flower Store (40680) with purchases of $200 or more and it runs until March 11 or while supplies last. There’s also a LEGO Friends Beach Clean-up (30635) + LEGO Animal Crossing Maple’s Pumpkin Garden (30662) polybag bundle with purchases of $50 in Animal Crossing, City, Creator 3-in-1, DREAMZzz, or Friends.

For LEGO Insiders, the new LEGO Ninjago Micro Ninjago City (40703) is now available to redeem in the Rewards Center. It’ll cost you 2,700 Insider points and remember there will be four sets in total so it’ll cost you a whopping 10,800 points for the series. Fortunately, it’s less than what China has to spend on them but it still equates to over $1,600 spent to acquire enough points.

Designer James May Leaves The LEGO Group

LEGO designer, James May, has recently announced that he has left the company and is now pursuing a new venture. May has been designing or collaborated on a number of sets for quite a few years now but has now started up a new YouTube channel that you can check out. It’ll be a weekly show that takes a look at behind the scenes on what LEGO sets he has worked on, similar to a designer video but on a more personal level, as he states.

LEGO House Exclusive LEGO Building Systems (40505) Officially Announced

LEGO has officially revealed the next LEGO House set that will be released which is the LEGO Building Systems (40505). The set pays tribute to different three LEGO building systems which include LEGO System, Technic, and DUPLO. Releasing tomorrow, the set has 1,211 pieces and retails for 699 DKK.

The main build features three models from each building system. First is the DUPLO train which is a mix of sets 2700 and 2705, the middle one features the Town Plan from 1955, and the last one is based on the 853 Car Chassis.

The back of the build also features 19 nano builds which include The Wooden Duck, DUPLO Building Set (511), Yellow Castle (375) Technic Space Shuttle (8480), and Bionicle Tahu and Takua (40581), just to name a few.

Since the LEGO Building System is a LEGO House exclusive, it’ll be fairly hard to get unless you get it from the secondary market or have connections to someone in Billund.

LEGO® House Exclusive #5 is here: LEGO® Building Systems

This year’s LEGO® House Exclusive honors the LEGO System in Play and a rich history of iconic builds.

• The fifth LEGO House Exclusive LEGO set celebrates three LEGO building systems – LEGO System, LEGO Technic, and LEGO DUPLO – with iconic builds from each system.
• The set is exclusively available in the on-site store at LEGO House, Home of the Bricks in Billund, Denmark.

LEGO Part of Walmart Collector Con 2024

Walmart will be holding their Collector Con event next month and it looks like LEGO will be part of the offerings. On March 14 & 15, Walmart will be dropping collectibles from various companies with sneak peeks starting on March 7. LEGO has been doing Collector Con for a few years with all the reveals being LEGO Star Wars sets so I wouldn’t be too surprised if it’ll be the same this year. I don’t think there will be any exclusives as all the previous sets have been available on the LEGO Shop.

LEGO March 2024 Shopping Guide

March is just around the corner and it will be a pretty big month in terms of LEGO releases as it is the third largest of the year. As of right now, there are about 50 new items on the LEGO Shop that will be available from pretty much a majority of the LEGO themes including the highly anticipated Animal Crossing.

As for any gift with purchase sets go, LEGO hasn’t officially announced anything yet although we’ve seen plenty of GWP items such as the Flower Shop (40680) and the LEGO Ninjago Micro Ninjago City (40703) although they haven’t said when they will be released. We’ll just have to wait until the end of this month to see what will be dropping overseas first to see what we’ll be getting.
