Billund, Denmark (June 17, 2021) – Today, LEGO® Education announced a collaboration with NASA on a free digital STEAM learning series that will launch in September 2021. Build to Launch: A STEAM Exploration Series is designed to spark student curiosity and increase engagement in STEAM through the upcoming Artemis I mission. The 10-week series includes interactive episodes and open-ended prompts grouped into three learning themes aligned with the mission: Getting to Space, Testing and Transport, and Working in Space.
Teachers looking to reengage and excite their students in learning as they come back to school this fall can easily implement this standards-based series for grades K-12 into their curriculum. From astronauts to engineers and flight controllers, each interactive and hands-on lesson will highlight and explain careers at NASA to inspire students to see themselves in these roles. Students will work together to solve out-of-this-world problems just like the NASA teams they’re learning about. Throughout the series, students will also follow along and interact with the LEGO®
LEGO has announced that the LEGO Ideas Third 2020 Review Stage winner will be revealed tomorrow. It will be at 3pm CEST which is 6am PST. There are 25 projects in the running to become an official LEGO Ideas set. They are also doing a giveaway for the LEGO Ideas 21319 FRIENDS Central Perk set signed by its Fan Designer Aymeric Fievet if you can guess the winner.

You have to be a LEGO VIP member and logged into your account for the promo to show up in the cart. The promo also doubles up with the LEGO DOTS Photo Holder Cube (30557) with purchases of $40 or more in LEGO DOTS, LEGO VIDIYO, or LEGO Friends.
The Swing Ship Ride celebrates the Festival of Family Fun and the front of it says Leg Godt which is Danish for Play Well. This set looks to be the first in a line of carnival-type sets with a Carousel (5006745) also being revealed recently.
The Floating Island (Using Tensegrity) by Seb_E is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The microscale build uses tensegrity which has five wires to stabilize the island. The island itself has a castle, small houses, two mills, and an airship.
LEGO has launched a new sweepstakes on the VIP Rewards Center for a signed Marvel Paul Bettany photograph. It costs 50 points and you can have a maximum of 50 entries for the signed Vision photo. The photo also comes in a sealed Lucite case for easy display. If you look on the secondary market, Paul Bettany’s auto does go for quite a bit. The sweepstakes ends on July 11.
