LEGO has officially kicked off their double VIP points promotion on the LEGO Shop. From now until April 20, you can earn double points on every purchase. Fortunately, there are a number of LEGO Exclusive sets available including the LEGO NASA Space Shuttle Discovery (10283) and LEGO DC 1989 Batmobile (76139) still in stock. In addition, the LEGO Ideas Medieval Blacksmith (21325) is available for backorder. As always, please use our links to make your purchases as they help support the site.
It looks like we may finally get double VIP points again on the LEGO Shop very soon. The Australian LEGO Shop has already kicked off their promotion and it runs until April 20. I’ve been told that we could see the promotion some time in mid-April so we’ll see if double points actually start here in North America tonight. It’s been a while since we’ve had double VIP points and I believe the last time was back in October.
Like with the LEGO Harry Potter Wall Art, the Disney’s Mickey Mouse (31202) also has some new alternate designs that you can create with free instructions provided by LEGO. The new designs by Kitt Grace Kossmann features Mickey winking and a front portrait of Minnie and honestly, I prefer the winking Mickey over the original design for the set. Both designs only require one copy of the original Mickey Mouse set.
For those who didn’t get their pre-orders in for the new LEGO Marvel Carnage (76199), it is now available for purchase on the LEGO Shop. The set has 546 pieces and retails for $59.99. It is part of the new helmet bust sets that could be based on Venom: Let There Be Carnage movie with Venom (76187) releasing on April 26.
If you’re a fan of the LEGO Wall Art Harry Potter Hogwarts Crests (31201), there are some new instructions for other models that you can create. LEGO designer Kitt Grace Kossmann has created three new models featuring Hedwig, the Golden Snitch and the King’s Cross Station 9¾ sign. Each one only requires one copy of the Hogwarts Crest (31201) and the instructions can be download in one single PDF or separately for each of the models.
LEGO has officially revealed the upcoming LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures on their social media channels. They were supposed to reveal three per channel until all of them were shown off but I guess they thought it was too slow and dragged out too long. Anyways, there are 12 of them to collect and they should be available starting on May 1.

There are reports that Target will be start selling LEGOLAND exclusive sets in stores. The street date for the sets is April 11. People have been finding various LEGOLAND sets in various locations in the US including Ninjago World (40429) and the Fire Academy (40393). It also seems that Target will be selling the sets a little cheaper than at LEGOLAND’s online shops. Have you been able to find any of the LEGOLAND exclusives at Target stores yet?
