The LEGO x adidas collaboration continues on this week as adidas has revealed the new UltraBOOST DNA x LEGO Plates shoes. These shoes will be more customizable than the previous ZX 8000 ones and will have a release date of April 8. Retailing for $200, these new ones will be more comfortable because of the UltraBOOST technology but you’ll also be able to change the look on the sides using your own LEGO plates. The ZX 8000’s didn’t allow for LEGO parts to be used but you’ll be able to do so with these UltraBOOSTs. If you are interested in them, search for FY7690 this Thursday over on the adidas website.

LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures Revealed

We can now finally talk about the LEGO Looney Tunes Collectible Minifigures as Brickset is reporting that the set has been found at a store in California. There are 12 minifigures to collect and they feature some of the more iconic characters including:

• Bugs Bunny
• Lola Bunny
• Daffy Duck
• Wile E Coyote
• Road Runner
• Sylvester
• Tweety
• Marvin the Martian
• Speedy Gonzales
• Porky Pig
• Petunia Pig
• Tasmanian Devil

Note that the box was sold at an independant store so the prices are marked up a bit but they should be $4.99 each. Also the boxes now come with 36 minifigures and not the usual 60. Which LEGO Looney Tunes characters are you looking forward to getting?

LEGO Space Logo Collectible Coin Sold Out

The LEGO Space Logo Collectible Coin in the Rewards Center was launched late Wednesday afternoon here in the US and it may be the fastest one to sell out from the four coins that have been released. Even at 1,150 VIP points, LEGO ran out of stock on it within a few hours.

Now that all four of the Classic themed coins have been released, fans are now trying to get the previous ones they may have missed. The Space one may be the hardest to get as “pre-orders” on the secondary market have already reached over $200 for it. I’m guessing it’ll drop to about $150 once people start to get their orders in and they lowball each other.

There’s still one coin left to collect next month which is the golden one that goes in the middle of the display case.
