Amazon has just discounted the LEGO Ideas A-Frame Cabin (21338) by 20% off the regular retail price. The set is now listed at $143.99 which saves you $36 on the set and makes it a way better buy for the 2,082 piece set. This is the first time that Amazon has dropped it by 20% and it probably won’t last too long at this price.

LEGO on their social media accounts looks to be teasing another LEGO Transformers announcement. The short clip shows Optimus Prime (10302) which his famous phrase “Calling All Autobots” and fades to black with the words “Who will answer the call.” It looks like we’ll be getting another Autobot set and rumor has it that it could be his Second-in-Command, Bumblebee. A few days ago, the Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Division conducted a raid in connection of retail thefts involving LEGO sets. Two persons have been arrested and over 2,800 LEGO sets have been recovered from $20 sets to $1,000 sets at a house in Long Beach which are valued about $100,000.
LEGO sets have been a popular target among theives as this is the second larger bust within a few months. Back in April, there was another incident involving over $300,000 worth of stolen LEGO sets.
Target has started a new promotion for this week in which you can save 20% on select LEGO sets. There are 19 sets to choose from the list but the main one is the LEGO Star Wars UCS Luke Skywalker Landspeeder (75341) which is down to $184.79 but if you have the Target Circle Card, you can save an additional 5% as well. The promotion will end on June 15.

LEGO Brand Stores here in North America will have some building events in the next few weeks of June. The first one is actually tomorrow for a LEGO Photo Frame and will be held from 12-2pm local time. The other build is a LEGO Progress Flag to celebrate Pride Month and it will be happening on Friday, June 14 from 5-7pm local time. Both building events are free and will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Working Image Projector “Magic Lantern” by Norders is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The 513 piece build features a functional projector that uses the flashlight from your phone to show images that are bounced off a mirror.
The project joins Claw Machine Wallace & Gromit – A Grand Day Out, Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus Multi Player, Impression Sunrise – Monet, The Loneliness of the Voyager – NASA’s Voyager Mission, Artists Cafe – The University House, Humpback Whale Breach, Tintin – Space Rocket, The Iron Giant in the Forest, and Tetris Solid as the ones to reach the Second 2024 Review Stage.
Amazon has recently discounted the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Medieval Castle (31120) by 15%. The supposedly retiring set is currently priced at $84.99 which saves you $15 on it. The main draw here is that the castle is part of the Black Falcon Knights subtheme and has a couple of minifigures for the faction. The sales for this particular set usually doesn’t last too long and goes back up to regular price after a few days.
