LEGO Minecraft Theme Celebrates 15th Anniversary

This year the LEGO Minecraft theme celebrates their fifteenth anniversary and this summer and they have revealed an exclusive LEGO Minecraft Brickerite Ore set for content creators across the world. The set isn’t sold anywhere unless they pop up on the secondary market in the future. It features a block cube designed to help the creators reminisce over the past fifteen years of Minecraft.

The creators were given instructions to mine the LEGO Brickerite Ore cube with a LEGO brick pickaxe, pair of goggles and gloves, and to start recreating one of their favourite memories from Minecraft with LEGO Minecraft Bricks from LEGO bricks.

In addition to the summer 2024 LEGO Minecraft sets, LEGO has also teased another announcement coming June 1.

LEGO Insiders Rewards Center Updated to Easily Find LEGO Sets

The LEGO Insiders Rewards Center has updated the user experience to make it easier to find the exclusive LEGO sets that you can redeem. Before the update, the sets were listed under in several categories such as Featured Rewards or in Collectibles but now, there is a new category at the bottom called LEGO sets. It may not seem like a big change but this makes it much easier to find all the released sets so far that are still available instead of going through all categories to find if there is something new.

LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Main Street (31141) Amazon Sale – May 2024

Amazon has discounted the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Main Street (31141) by 29% which save you a little over $40 on the set. The 1,459 piece set features a street with four buildings but can also be redesigned into a 4-floor art deco apartment building or an archway market street with a photo studio and flower shop. This is the lowest the price has been at since early May but the sale only lasted for a few days.

LEGO Alien Space Diner (40687) Sold Out on LEGO Shop

After our review of the set went out yesterday, the LEGO Alien Space Diner (40687) is now sold out on the LEGO Shop here in the US. The set was decently good with the minifigures and the price point to get it wasn’t extremely high so it was fairly easy to get.

You can probably still find them at LEGO Stores but call to double check that they still have the promotion going. The easiest place to find one now is the secondary market and it’s going for between $20-$30, depending on who you’re buying from.
