How LEGO Minifigures Are Made

LEGO has recently released a fairly rare video showing their factory and how they make LEGO minifigures. The video doesn’t show the complete process but it does give you an idea of what goes into creating just one minifigure. It’s a pretty cool video with fun facts thrown in here and there showing just how many they can make in an hour. Here’s to hoping to see more of these kinds of videos in the future.

The LEGO Group Collaborates with Save the Children and NITI Aayog to Support Children Impacted by COVID-19 in India

The LEGO Group, in collaboration with NITI Aayog and Save The Children, has introduced targeted initiatives in India to promote ‘Learning Through Play’ and support home-based learning during these unprecedented times, while strengthening community efforts to respond to COVID 19. The new partnership forms part of the LEGO Group and LEGO Foundation’s overall commitment of US $50 million globally to help children and their families impacted by COVID 19.

The LEGO Group has partnered with Save the Children to promote responsive care-giving and play based learning practices for children aged 3-8 years both at state and national levels. This effort will help in strengthening communities to combat COVID-19 by providing educational kits and play materials for use at home as well as guiding parents and caregivers on hygiene and responsive caregiving. The initiative will also improve access to quality pre-school education through the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) and pre-school Centres when they re-open. LEGO DC Super Heroes Collectible Minifigures (71026) Amazon Sale – June 2020

This isn’t a huge deal since you can’t purchase large quantities, but Amazon currently has the LEGO DC Super Heroes Collectible Minifigures (71026) for $2.49 which is 50% off the regular price. There is a limit of three and it also has Prime shipping. I’m not sure if it’s a limit of three per order or three per account. Either way, it’s a good deal since retail price is getting pretty high for them.
