German retailer JB Spielwaren has revealed two new summer 2024 LEGO Friends sets. It looks like the main subtheme for this wave will be outdoors at Adventure Camp. They are listed as a June 1 release but the US will probably get them in August.

LEGO has released a short video celebrating 25 years of the LEGO Star Wars theme and it looks like they have teased some new minifigures that we could be getting later this year. At the end of the video, there’s a very quick photo op of all of the Star Wars minifigures that LEGO has made so far but there are also some new ones in the picture as well including Ahsoka’s Ezra Bridger, Cal Kestis from the Star Wars Jedi game series, Nien Numb, and Young Leia from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. The characters have been rumored to be in various sets later this year.
The Portal 2 Quantum Tunnelling Device. The “Portal Gun” by Hooded-Blaze is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build is a physical replica from Portal that has been redesigned from the original submission that also hit 10k.

The fan vote for the LEGO Ideas If We Can Turn Back Time building contest is now live and you can vote for the next LEGO Ideas sets. There’s a short list of five projects that are in the running and they feature classic movies from the 80s. The fan vote will run until June 14 and there will be a second fan vote on September 1 for another group of projects for this contest.

LEGO Hong Kong’s Instagram has posted a teaser for two new LEGO Animal Crossing sets coming this August. The top set shows the Town Hall and it includes minifigures of Isabelle, Audie, K.K. Slider. The other set features the Airport for Dodo Airlines and it includes Wilbur and Tangy holding a Nook Miles Ticket.

2024 is the year of LEGO Space sets and today LEGO has revealed two new ones with the LEGO Icons NASA Artemis Space Launch System (10341) and the LEGO Art The Milky Way (31212). Both releasing on May 15 for Insiders, the Artemis has 3,601 pieces and retails for $259.99 while the Milky Way has 3,091 pieces and retails for $199.99. The wave will consist of eight sets and they mostly feature new animals and I really like the one with the panda. You can pre-order a few of the sets today and they will ship by release date.
