In just a few days, LEGO will be releasing some new LEGO Marvel 4+ sets for Spidey and his Amazing Friends and the first one we’ll be checking out is the Drill Spinner Vehicle (10792). The set has 58 pieces and will retail for $9.99.

Today is the last day to get your pre-orders in for the BrickLink Designer Program Series 1 sets for those who have been holding off. As of this post, there is just about five hours left to order and any sets that have not reached the maximum of 30,000 will be the “limited” ones for Series 1 as there will be less of those produced than the other ones. The General Store (910031) is about 80% sold out while the Parisian Street (910032) still looks to be about 55% sold. Production and shipping of the Series 1 sets will begin some time in July 2024. Series 2 pre-orders will begin on June 1.

Walmart will be holding their Collector Con event next month and it looks like LEGO will be part of the offerings. On March 14 & 15, Walmart will be dropping collectibles from various companies with sneak peeks starting on March 7. LEGO has been doing Collector Con for a few years with all the reveals being LEGO Star Wars sets so I wouldn’t be too surprised if it’ll be the same this year. I don’t think there will be any exclusives as all the previous sets have been available on the LEGO Shop.
LEGO has announced two new gameplay experiences within LEGO Fortnite called LEGO Islands which include LEGO Raft Survival and LEGO Obby Fun modes.
LEGO Raft Survival is a multiplayer problem solving mode that uses the classic LEGO Pirates theme where you have to stay afloat on the raft. LEGO Obby Fun is an obstacle course that is a problem solving mode where players are spawned randomly on a LEGO themed course which includes Friends, City, Ninjago, and DREAMZzz. As of right now, there are just a little bit over three days left and there are only two sets that haven’t sold out yet, the General Store (910031) and Parisian Street (910032). The General Store looks to be about 75% sold out while the Parisian Street is around 55%. If they don’t sell out by Wednesday, February 28, they’ll be more limited than the 30,000 allotted sets which may attract collectors as there are less made than the ones that sold out.

Tower Chess by Ferbrick1 is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. The build features a chess board that can be folded around the tower with the pieces stored inside.
