LEGO Black Card Display Stand (5005747) Now Available for Black Card Holders

For those who have the LEGO VIP Black Card, you’ve probably gotten the email on how to redeem the exclusive LEGO Black Card Display Stand (5005747) on Shop@Home. From now until January 31, while supplies last, you can get it with a purchase of any LEGO Star Wars products and you’ll enter your code during checkout. As for the rest of us who don’t have the card, at least we still have Double VIP Points until Monday, December 10.

Blizzard Open to Discussing LEGO World of Warcraft Sets

It was a huge surprise back in May when Activision Blizzard announced they were partnering up with LEGO to produce LEGO Overwatch which will be coming out in January. Since then, fans have been wondering if LEGO will be doing other IPs in Blizzard’s portfolio. Recently, Forbes has done an interview with both Blizzard Vice President of Consumer Products Matt Beecher and LEGO Designer Woon Tze Chee about some of the Overwatch sets. The interview basically talked about the sets and how they came to be and transitioned to if LEGO will be doing other products with other IPs. While LEGO declined to say on the possibility of LEGO World of Warcraft sets, Beecher went on to say:

It needs to be the right time and place for both parties. I mean, we would definitely be interested in discussing that. With World of Warcraft, there’s a hundred million-plus people that have touched that experience at some point in their life, so there’s a very broad and diverse audience around the world that supports World Of Warcraft. But it obviously would be a mutual decision. We need make sure there’s enough indicators pointing to that it would be a great idea.

As a Warcraft fan, I wouldn’t mind seeing LEGO Warcraft sets. It is a fantasy/castle theme that fans would enjoy with almost unlimited playability because the lore is so expansive. LEGO 2018 Holiday Shopping Recommendations

There’s less than three weeks left in the holiday shopping season and now is a good time for me to release my 2018 LEGO shopping recommendations as I’ve had some good feedback for them. Chris McKay Confirms The LEGO Batman Sequel in the Works

The LEGO Batman Movie

It’s been almost two years since The LEGO Batman Movie was in theaters and fans have been wondering if there will be a sequel for it. The director for the first movie, Chris McKay, has assured us that a second movie is currently being worked on. This doesn’t mean that that The LEGO Batman Movie 2 has been officially announced but at least we know Warner Bros. is looking into it another movie for Batman. In the meantime, we still have the Caped Crusader in The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part which hits theaters in February.

LEGO has changed their layout on where we used to get the PDFs of the LEGO Store Calendars so for now, there’s no way to see the next month’s calendar if you don’t have a store nearby. I went to my store yesterday to get a copy of the January 2019 LEGO Store Calendar and it looks like we’re not missing out on much. Below are some of the promotions and events that will be going on next month.


January 1: The new LEGO Overwatch sets will be available for purchase along with a ton of other sets from various themes.

January 1: Double VIP Points on select sets at vip.lego.com.

January 8-9: VIP Monthly Mini Model Build is a Plane.

January 19 & 26: LEGO Life Meeting

January 21: Minifigure Swap Monday

January 23: LEGO Overwatch Play Event. The details of the event will become available on December 15. Sign ups for the event start on January 1.

LEGO DC Super Villains Aquaman Level Pack

The Aquaman Level Pack Part 1 for LEGO DC Super-Villains Video Game is now available for download starting today. The level packs includes six levels and the first part has five playable characters, Aquaman (Gladiator), Black Manta (Movie), Mera, Orm (Gladiator), King Nereus, and Queen Atlanna while the second pack adds another five playable characters including Aquaman (Movie), Vulko, Trench Creature, Murk, Brine King, and Orm (Movie).
