The LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale (21348) seems to be one of the more popular releases for early April as the Mimic Dice Box (5008325) gift with purchase set seems to have sold out online for the US. The set was only available with the new Ideas set but it looks like LEGO didn’t produce too many of them as evident of the yellow box packaging. You can probably still find it at your local LEGO store but call to double check. The Flower Trellis Display (40683) is the only GWP still available here but other countries might still have both in stock.

Following up on the LEGO Store exclusive Alien Pack (40715), there’s another set that features the alien environment setting which is the Alien Planet Habitat (40716). The set has 206 pieces and also retails for $14.99 and will be released on May 1. The build has three more aliens along with two habitat sections that can be added on to the LEGO City and Friends space sets.
LEGO has revealed a new LEGO Space set that’s a pseudo-battle pack with the Alien Pack (40715). Releasing on May 1, the set contains 181 pieces and will retail for $14.99. The set features six different alien characters along with a LEGO astronaut minifigure on a small rover. Note that these sets are sort of exclusive to the LEGO Shop and LEGO Brand Stores along with LEGOLAND shops and you won’t be able to find it at big box retailers.
LEGO has put up the product page for the upcoming LEGO Space Collectible Minifigures Series 26 (71046) and we finally have the official names of the characters that will be in this wave. They will officially be available on May 1 for $4.99 each but you can probably find them early at various retailers if they didn’t read the “Do Not Sell By” date. Which one(s) are you looking forward to getting?

• Imposter
• Robot Butler
• Alien Beetlezoid

LEGO has officially announced a brand new Despicable Me set with the Supersized Tim (75553). The build consists of 102,213 pieces and measures at 2.5 meters tall. The instruction manual itself contains 8,947 pages which supposedly takes you over a year to build but there are some fast builders that can finish before that. There’s also a gift with purchase item includes which are some safety straps to help you move the box. There’s no mentioning yet on the release date or the pricing but those details should be coming soon.
