Five Days Left on LEGO FORMA Indiegogo Campaign

We are down to the last five days for the LEGO FORMA Indiegogo campaign and there is only a small amount left available for each perk option. The best deal is the LEGO FORMA Super Box and as of this writing, there’s only 160 left for the US and 45 for the UK. As for the individual models, there’s only a handful left for each of those and they’ll surely go out of stock before the campaign is over. I’ll do another reminder on the last day as there will certainly be a rush of supporters as it usually is with crowdfunding campaigns.

Rumored LEGO Black Friday 2018 Promotions

LEGO Ninjago Bricktober 2018 (5005257)

Last month, I reported that the LEGO Bricktober 2018 sets would be coming in November through December but there was no details about it. Today I’ve received some new information from a trusted source for the upcoming Black Friday promotions. I’ve been told that the LEGO Ninjago Bricktober 2018 (5005257) will be available during that time with purchases of $50 or more, while supplies last. The other Black Friday promotion is the LEGO Seasonal Christmas Gift Box (40292) with purchases of $99 or more. Of course, this information is still considered a rumor until LEGO confirms it in the next few weeks. I trust the information that I have but we’ll see if they are true soon.

Geoffrey’s Toy Box to be in Kroger Stores

Last month, it was revealed that Toys R Us was rebranded as Geoffrey’s Toy Box. It is basically a store-in-a-store concept and the first stores will be in a large Midwest retailer. My original guess was Meijer but it was announced that Kroger will be store that will have the first Geoffrey’s Toy Box. Starting this month, Kroger supermarkets will start to get displays with the Geoffrey branding and with it are a small selection of toys. There are currently no big brands on the portfolio including LEGO but we’ll see if this concept will eventually bring the bigger brands to the stores.

LEGO Ideas Pop-Up Book (21315) Modifications

The LEGO Ideas Pop-Up Book (21315) is now available and if you’ve followed the project on Ideas, you’ll notice that LEGO made some minor changes to it. Jason Allemann has uploaded a new video showing some modifications he has made to the official set to his liking.

One of the big changes was that LEGO omitted the clasp on the set which I mentioned in my review. In the video, he has shown us know how to make a small change to the set to add the clasp. What’s cool is that you don’t even need your own parts to make because it uses existing parts from the set itself. Jason also shows us how to make a clip clasp but that will require some extra parts.

LEGO Overwatch D.Va Statue at BlizzCon 2018

LEGO Overwatch D.Va Blizzcon 2018

BlizzCon 2018 kicks off tomorrow and attendees will be able to see a LEGO Overwatch statue of D.Va at the event. Both D.Va and her mech consists of 145,276 pieces and weighs 1,256 pounds together and it took LEGO builders 731 hours to construct.

It’s assumed that some of the LEGO Overwatch sets will be on display at BlizzCon but we’ve already seen images of the set from my previous article from last week. Which set are you looking forward to getting?
