The new San Diego Comic Con 2017 trailer for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is now available to watch. It shows Kang the Conqueror creating Chronopolis. In addition to the reveals at SDCC, there were some more characters that I missed while I was at the panel that will be in the game including Surtur, Man-Ape, Wasp, and who appears to be Luis from the Ant-Man movie. Check out the video below.

It wasn’t announced until Preview Night of San Diego Comic Con 2017 but I have managed to get the exclusive LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Deadpool Duck. He is basically what happens when Deadpool is combined with Howard the Duck which was first introduced in a five issue miniseries at the beginning of the year. The clamshell that Deadpool Duck uses is the same one as before in previous years. The backing is just a two-sided one with the back promoting LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.
The torso is a new one with updated printing. There are now straps that go around the shoulders and around the back. There’s also some brown pouches around the waist as well. The Deadpool buckle is a little bit larger. The legs are of the short variety as he is a duck. The head gets a makeover which uses the Donald and Daisy head mold from the LEGO Collectible Minifigures Disney Series (71012). The head is now painted with the red and black Deadpool mask with one eye squinting.
Overall, the exclusive SDCC 2017 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Deadpool Duck is a great addition to any collection. Considering Deadpool hasn’t appeared in a set since 2013 with the Wolverine’s Chopper Showdown (6866), any variant of him is a good. Unfortunately for fans who weren’t able to attend SDCC, the only way to possibly get it is having really good friends or on the secondary market. The price of it has dropped somewhat since SDCC ended but it’s still … Continue
The LEGO Ninjago TV series panel was earlier today at San Diego Comic Con 2017 and there was some new information regarding Season 8. I was also live-tweeting the panel which can check out on Twitter.
The panel consisted of Writers Kevin and Dan Hageman, showrunner Tommy Andreasen, senior creative director Simon Lucas, IP lead Nelson Lamonica, and suprise guest David Shayne. The first thing the panel talked about was last season’s Hands of Time.
The first thing the panel talked about was some of the inner workings of the previous season. They showed off some concept art and talked about what the season was about.
They dug deeper into some of the villains who were involved including Sander Saunders, aka Krux, and the Vermillion. Like before, there are some prototypes of the Vermillion.
Next up is more concept art for the Kai and Nya’s Fusion Dragon. They explained that they wanted to make it look more organic.
Finally, there was the big question of where Wu is. We’ll find out more in Season 8. One cool thing that was touched on was some kids at last year’s panel gave some suggestions on how Zane got his powers and the Hagemans took those suggestions and we will be seeing them next season.
Finally, we have the opening sequence clip for Season 8. I didn’t record or take pictures as it technically wasn’t allowed but that didn’t stop some from doing it. Embedded below is the whole clip which you can watch before it gets taken … Continue
The LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2: Meet the Talent Behind the Video Game panel happened earlier today at San Diego Comic Con 2017 and there were tons of new information about the game that was exclusively revealed. The panel consisted of Arthur Parsons (head of design, TT Games), Bill Rosemann (executive creative director, Marvel Games), Justin Ramsden (designer, LEGO), Kurt Busiek (comics writer, Avengers Forever), and Dan Veesenmeyer (comic content artist, and LEGO Marvel’s Avengers) with Ryan Penagos serving as a moderator. I was live-tweeting the panel and it was hard to keep up with all the info they gave but I survived it and here’s a recap of what happened.
One thing that was touched on before the new trailer was the different versions of the same character will be able to team up which means that Spider-Man Noir can team up with the normal Spider-Man if you desire. Then they dropped the new trailer on us which Arthur says the public can expect it to go live on Monday. keep watch for Rocket Raccoon with chicken blasters.
Dan talked about recreating the Kang Dynasty storyline cover, written by Kurt Busiek, and turning it into LEGO form. A copy of this LEGO cover was given out to each person in the audience which has a nice shiny gold foil in various parts. Arthur also added that you will be able to collect these classic comic book covers in the game via minikits.
Vehicles will be making a return as there were a few that were … Continue
Earlier this month, Bricks on the Dollar launched their own LEGO-themed Monthly Mystery Box. Is the age of Mystery Boxes over? Perhaps. But where other LEGO-themed Mystery Boxes focus on education, knock-offs, or just a scoop of used bricks, Clutch’s Secret Stash promotes the celebration of the LEGO Lifestyle among AFOLs.
Here’s an image of what subscribers received in their first box.

At the Cartoon Network’s Unikitty! panel at San Diego Comic Con 2017 yesterday, attendees got an exclusive look at the first episode of the show. In an unexpected reveal, Ed Skudder and Aaron Waltke announced that Japanese metal band BABYMETAL will be performing the theme song. This is surprising news and it may help boost the popularity of the new show as Babymetal has quite a large fanbase. As for the episode itself, like I said in my live-tweet of the panel, it was interesting and has potential. I won’t go into detail of what the episode was about as to not spoil it.

Yesterday was The LEGO Ninjago Movie panel at San Diego Comic Con 2017 and if you follow my Twitter, I was live-tweeting the whole panel which included an exclusive look at the new trailer for the movie. At the MTV Fandom Fest a short while ago, the new trailer for The LEGO Ninjago Movie was made public which you can watch below.
Also during the panel, attendees were also given the Green Ninja Mech Dragon (30428) polybag. There’s no word on availability of it at this time.
