i-Brix Wireless LEGO Lighting System Back on Kickstarter

Back in 2015, Dustin from i-Brix launched a Kickstarter campaign which was supposed to be the industry’s first wireless lighting system to be used with LEGO. Unfortunately, the campaign failed as it did not meet its goal.

After two years with additional research and development, i-Brix is now back on Kickstarter with a lower goal threshold. If you haven’t heard of i-Brix before, it uses a 1×1 i-Brix that connects to regular LEGO bricks and power is conducted through the included Power Plate.

LEGO Minifigure Travel Pack (5004932) Review

LEGO Minifigure Travel Pack (5004932)

Earlier this month, LEGO had a promotion for the Minifigure Travel Pack (5004932) with purchases of $35 or more. Here’s a little short review of the set with something special at the end.

Packaging

The box that the Minifigure Travel Pack comes in has the design of a suitcase with printing of stickers throughout. Inside the box, there’s more printing of various LEGO elements that people may take on a trip.

Minifigure

There’s one minifigure included with this set and he’s nothing too special. The torso features the spaceman printing and green arms. It has been used before in previous sets but it’s still cool to get that particular one. The legs are medium blue and the cap that he wears is lime green.

Builds

There are lots of little builds that are in the set such as a beach chair with an umbrella, a mini sandcastle, a barbeque, and a camera on a tripod. There’s also a surfboard, a whip used as a fishing rod, some scuba gear, suitcase, and ice cream cone.

The idea of the set is to use these builds along with the minifigure and take picutres of them in various locations. In the back of the instructions, there are some images of the set at different locales.

LEGO Dimensions The Goonies Level Pack (71267) 50% Off Amazon Sale

If you haven’t picked up the LEGO Dimensions The Goonies Level Pack (71267), Amazon is price matching Toys R Us for 50% off the normal price. Even if you’re not a fan of the Dimensions video game itself, the Sloth minifigure with a couple of builds at $14.99 is a easier pill to swallow than $29.99. If you do play the game and haven’t picked up the set yet, this is a good opportunity to, especially since we probably won’t be seeing another Goonies character in LEGO form any time soon.

Hey, you guuuys! Help Sloth and Chunk escape the Fratelli hideout and join the rest of the Goonies on their search for One Eyed Willy’s treasure. Make a break from the Fratelli family as they chase you through the pirate ship, but don’t forget to dodge the traps! Build Sloth and use his Super Strength to smash through walls. For extra fun, play as Chunk and use his infamous Truffle Shuffle. Hop on to One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship when you need a ride or play the Skeleton Organ to make your way out of the caves. Rebuild One-Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship into Fanged Fortune and the Inferno Cannon, and the Skeleton Organ into Skeleton Jukebox and Skele-Turkey for added game play. Explore Mikey’s House, Inferno Cove, and the Goon Docks in the Goonies Adventure World, and compete with up to 4 of your friends in the Goonies Battle Arena.
