For those who are LEGO employees, you may have already received your annual LEGO Christmas set which is the LEGO Friends 10 Years of Friendship (4002022). This set celebrates the past decade of LEGO Friends and is the official last set for the original five main characters of Olivia, Mia, Andrea, Stephanie and Emma in their current form. As we know by now, there will be a new generation of LEGO Friends coming next year with a whopping 20 sets slated for a January 1 release.

As a LEGO Ambassador, I was was privileged to receive this set from LEGO and it adds to the growing collection of employee gifts from the past few years. I know this set has been revealed in the last couple of weeks already but decided to hold off a little longer so the employees can get their gifts first. For those who want to get it, I suggest heading over to eBay or BrickLink. Since it is a LEGO Friends set, the price won’t be too high compared to the sets from previous years.

Although Amazon Prime Early Access is now over, there is still some sales on LEGO sets including the Lunar New Year Traditions (80108). It is currently at 25% off which drops the price down to only $60. This is the lowest price the set has been at on Amazon. The September Toy of the Year 2022 award winners were announced yesterday and LEGO pretty much swept in the categories they were nominated for. This year was a little different because the TOTY Awards were held twice. This one gives companies an opportunity of promote their products for the upcoming holiday shopping season. The September Toy of the Year 2022 nominations have been announced and LEGO is in the running again for a few categories. Normally, the TOTY awards are given in February but they have shifted it to a new fall timeline to give companies the opportunity to promote their products during the holiday shopping season. Set you calendars because LEGO Stores will be hosting the second round of the 90 Years of Play Red Brick building event next week. The next session will be on August 10-11 on a first come, first served basis. The build is for a 2×2 red brick but it also doubles up as a coin bank. If you have the parts, you can build your own using the instructions that was provided to us however free LEGO is free LEGO.
