The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures Series 2 (71020) Review

In a surprise release at the beginning of the year, LEGO released Series 2 of The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures (71020). Like with the previous series, there are a total of 20 minifigures to collect. One new thing about this wave are the Batman branded baseplates that are used for the minifigures.

The LEGO Batman Movie Minifigure Vignette Building Competition

The LEGO Batman Movie Series 2 Collectible Minifigures (71020) came out last month and if you don’t feel like feeling out each character, how about trying your luck on a building competition to win a complete set. What I ask from you is to build a small vignette of what you think a character’s scene would be like.

Rules:

– Build a small vignette scene, no larger than 10x10x10 (10 studs wide by 10 studs long by 10 studs high), that would fit a character from the Series 2 wave of TLBM characters.

– You do not have to own the minifigure for the specific vignette.

– Models have to be physically built. No digital creations will be accepted.

How to Enter:

– There are two ways to enter. You can either upload to our Flickr Group or post your submission to Instagram using the hashtag #thebrickfanvignette.

– Please specify which Series 2 TLBM minifigure was selected for the vignette in the image caption.

– You can submit more than one entry but only one will be selected a winner.

– The vignettes should be brand new and not seen before online.

Judging Criteria:

– Models will be judged based on how closely the build corresponds to the chosen minifigure.

Deadline:

– The last day to submit your entries is March 5, 11:59 pm PST.

– Judging will be completed a short time later.

Prize:

– One (1) complete set of The LEGO Batman Movie Series 2 Collectible Minifigures (71020).

LEGO has officially revealed the characters for the Series 2 The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigure (71020). We saw a teaser of them a few days ago but now we get to see them in all their glory. There will be 20 to collect and they will be available starting on January 1.

Harley Quinn is ready to burn up the dance floor in her sparkly disco outfit. Well, not literally burn the dance floor. At least we hope not literally. You never know with her.

We knew Alfred was a master at vacuuming rugs, but who new he could also cut a rug! That’s old-fashioned talk for dancing well.

Clock-themed villain Clock King, aka William Tockman, is infamous for his showing-up-to-fights-on-time skills.

Hugo Strange is one of Batman’s oldest and, well, strangest opponents. His only super power is his incredible, yet warped intelligence.

Move over Aquaman. There’s a new guardian of the ocean – Mermaid Batman

There’s nothing better than relaxing with your pet dolphin in your mansion’s giant pool after a long day of crime fighting.

The Joker is always prepared for mischief. Even his vacas include toxic popsicles and laughing gas floaties.

The LEGO Batman Movie Series 2 Collectible Minifigures (71020) First Look

I’ve just posted the January 2018 LEGO Store Calendar and on the back of the it, we get our official first look at Series 2 of The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures (71020). I know there’s images of the leaflet floating around but I’m waiting for an official announcement before I post it. We’ll mostly like see an announcemnt shortly as they will be available starting in January.

In this photo, we get to see some of the minifigures including Swimming Pool Batman (with Dolphin), Disco Harley, Vacation Joker, Vacation Alfred, Black Vulcan, Jor-El, Clock King, Soccer Mom Bat, and Vacation Robin.

The other minifigures that will be in the Series 2 The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures (71020) include Disco Alfred, Hugo Strange, Mer-Bat, Vacation Batgirl, Killer Moth, Jayna, Zan, Apache Chief, General Zod, Doctor Phosphorus, and Black Canary.L

The LEGO Batman Movie Justice League Anniversary Party

A few months back, there were rumors of a second wave of The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures (71020) and it looks like we now know who will be included in this wave of 20. These minifigures should be hitting store shelves late this year, early next year. We’ll have to wait for LEGO to reveal the official images of them. One thing to note is that, there is only two variants of Batman in this wave.
