LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2014 Official Set Images Revealed

Just2Good over on Eurobricks found that the official images of the 2014 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets have been found on Walmart Canada. Three of the sets are based on Disney XD’s animated TV series Ultimate Spider-Man and two from Avengers Assemble.

Spider-Trike vs. Electro (76014)

Electro is menacing the citizens by hovering above their heads with fearsome electricity bolts spinning under his feet and a diamond he has just stolen. Only Spider-Man can end his reign of terror using the great new Spider-Trike. Use the ejector seat to launch Spider-Man at his nemesis and win the day for the good guys. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes MODOK

Earlier today, we revealed images of the 2014 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets. eBay seller Votvik has posted an auction for M.O.D.O.K.’s head. You can clearly see a close-up of what he looks like and he is pretty much the exact same as the one in the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game. Notice the peg at the bottom of the head which connects to his vehicle, which is not included in the auction. M.O.D.O.K. is in the Hulk Lab Smash (76018) which is tentatively set to be released next Spring.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2014 Sets

Brickset has posted an image from Photobucket of the 2014 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets which comes from an Australian consumer catalog. The image shows all five sets we were reported before. The images shows the sets being available in March and April but they could be released a bit earlier here in the US. The details are as follows:

  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Spider-Trike vs. Electro (76014) – Includes Spider-Man and Electro
  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Doc Ock Truck Heist (76015) – Includes Spider-Man, Doc Ock, and Truck Driver
  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Spider-Helicopter Rescue (76016) – Includes Spider-Man, Green Goblin, Mary Jane, and Power Man
  • LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Captain America vs. HYDRA (76017) – Includes Captain America, Red Skull, and HYDRA Henchman

Is There A New LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Hulk Figure?

A member by the name of rashaun over on Eurobricks has purchased on Taobao (Chinese eBay) of what is believed to be the new Hulk figure for the 2014 Hulk’s Laboratory (76018). He has posted images of Hulk, now wearing purple pants, side by side with the 2012 version from Hulk’s Helicarrier Breakout (6868). Hulk also has a new face printing with him having clenched teeth instead of an open mouth. Rashaun believes that the “new” version of Hulk has been in production for at least a year. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Avengers Assemble 2014 Set Details

CM4S on Eurobricks has given some details of a couple of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2014 sets. These sets will most likely be based on the Avengers Assemble animated cartoon series on Disney XD. One of the sets is called Captain America vs. HYDRA (76017) and from one of my previous posts, it will retail for $19.99. The minifigures in the set will include Captain America, Red Skull, and a HYDRA agent. The vehicle is olive green and has 8 wheels, similar to the HYDRA Tank from the Captain America: The First Avenger movie.

The other set that has been described is Hulk’s Laboratory (76018). The minifigures included will include the Hulk, MODOK, Falcon, Thor, and possibly Taskmaster. The set has a prison cell that is similar to Hulk’s Helicarrier Breakout set from last year. There is also a yellow robot drone with 4 legs. This set will retail for $59.99.
