Chris McVeigh’s Mini Spaceship Instructions Now Available

You’ve probably seen Chris McVeigh’s miniature version of Benny’s Spaceship above. He has now provided the instructions for the build for free on his website. Head over to the “Sci-Fi & More” section of his building guides and you can download the instructions in PDF format along with many other building guides. If you have the pieces, you can display it next to the regular version of the 70816 ship. Be sure to follow his Facebook Page for more cool photography and notifications on when he releases new building guides.

LEGO June 2014 Sets Now Available on Shop@Home

LEGO Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Knowhere Escape Mission (76020)

Earlier we reported that the new LEGO Ideas Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (21108) was now available to purchase on Shop@Home. Now that June has arrived, some other sets are also available starting today. First are the three long-awaited The LEGO Movie sets: Emmet’s Construct-o-Mech (70814), Super Secret Police Dropship (70815), and Benny’s Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! (70816).

If those weren’t enough, the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Guardians of the Galaxy sets are also available today including the Starblaster Showdown (76019), Knowhere Escape Mission (76020), and The Milano Spaceship Rescue (76021). In addition, you can also get your hands on the X-Men vs. The Sentinel (76022).

The LEGO Friends theme also has some new stuff that just came out. The Jungle Accessory Set (850967) that we reported on a few days ago is now on Shop@Home for $14.99. A Model Catwalk (40112) for your mini-dolls can be had for $14.99 too. To tie in with the summer wave Jungle sets, there’s a new Jungle Playmat (851325) to build and display your sets on. The final item for the Friends theme is a Dolphin Bag Charm Key Chain (851324).

If you think that it, you’re wrong! The LEGO Minecraft Micro World The End (21107) is also available as well. The latest set to be released in the theme will also be the final Micro World set for the meantime while the minifigure scale sets will be released next.

I guess today is a day for revealing official images of upcoming LEGO sets on Amazon. Here we have the summer wave of the three The LEGO Movie sets.

Emmet’s Construct-o-Mech (70814)

Prepare for the ultimate battle with evil Lord Business. Join creative forces with Master Builder Emmet to make this massive Mech. Open up the cockpit and place Emmet in the driver’s seat. Knock over anything that gets in your way with the swinging wrecking balls. Grab a Skeletron in the Mech’s excavator bucket or rotate the roller to iron out the opposition. But hurry before Lord Business glues the whole world together. Includes 3 mini figures with accessories: Emmet and 2 Skeletrons, plus an Angry Kitty figure.

Super Secret Police Dropship (70815)

Lord Business’ Robo Police have invaded Cloud Cuckoo Land in their high-tech Dropship and are in hot pursuit of Emmet, Batman, Green Ninja and Johnny Thunder! With a pair of Robo SWATs at the controls in the dual cockpit, fire up the rocket boosters for lift-off. Once airborne, turn the rear control to rotate the boosters and surge forward in fly mode. Fire the stud blasters and target the heroes with the rotating front cannons and rooftop rifle. Open the sliding side panels to access the weapon rack and extend the zip line to lower the Robo SWATs to the ground.
