Hungary has set a new world record for the tallest LEGO tower in front of Saint Stephen’s Basilica. The constructed tower in Budapest is 34.76 meters high and broke the former record of 34.43 meters high held by the Red Clay Consolidated School District back in August of last year. The last piece of the tower was placed by the city’s 5th district, Mayor Antal Rogan. It took four days for official Danish LEGO builders with the help of school children to construct the tower. It will be deconstructed on Monday, May 26.
