LEGO x Adidas A-ZX First Look

Last week, LEGO did a teaser for their upcoming collaboration with Adidas for the A-ZX series of shoes. HighSnobiety was sent an early pair of the shoes to take a look at and they don’t look that bad.

The packaging comes in LEGO 2×3 brick box but the inner box looks to be a custom box to HighSobiety so you probably won’t get that when you order it. The shoe itself is mostly gray with accents of blue, green, red, and yellow which are LEGO’s basic colors.

There’s no word on a release date but it should be some time later this month at select retailers and at Adidas.com. It was also stated the price point could be between $120-$130 but that was just a guess. Who’s looking forward to picking up a pair?

LEGO Releases Statement on Surge of Projects Achieving 10,000 Supporters on LEGO Ideas

LEGO has given a statement on the recent surge of projects that are hitting 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. Should they change the way LEGO Ideas works whether it being upping the supporter threshold or decrease the timeframe needed to reach 10k?

Since the amount of projects have doubled to tripled the amount we usually get, LEGO has contributed this to the free time people have online due to COVID-19. The trend is still too early too see whether it will continue or not so they will not be making any changes to LEGO Ideas at this time but they are planning changes for the long term. This includes addressing the current trends along with realizing more AFOL project designs while being mindful of what LEGO Ideas is supposed to be.

Over the past six months, we have read a growing number of comments from the fan community related to the significant growth of product ideas reaching 10,000 supporters. A lot of those comments ask the same thing. Is it time for change on LEGO Ideas? Should we increase the supporter threshold, decrease the timeframe or change something else altogether?

The last two review periods have shown an invigorated interest in LEGO Ideas product idea submissions. We’ve gone from averaging about 10-12 product ideas in each review phase to seeing 26 and 35 product ideas, respectively, in the last review phases. A significantly leap.

We want to let you know that we’re aware that this increase is occurring. We’re also aware that this significant increase has

Thirty Five Projects Qualify for LEGO Ideas Second 2020 Review Stage

The deadline to enter the LEGO Ideas Second 2020 Review Stage has passed and there were a whopping 35 projects that qualified for it. This breaks the record set last review stage with 26. If you’ve followed my posts, I gave an update on each one that qualified and I’ve even missed a couple because it got really hard trying to keep up with it.

There is a variety of licensed and non-licensed projects so LEGO will have their hands full trying to critique each one to see if they will become an official LEGO Ideas set. Since there are so many projects that qualified, nine more than last time, hopefully more will pass than the accustomed two or three we usually get every review stage. Which one(s) do you think will pass?

LEGO Ideas Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Course Achieves 10,000 Supporters

The Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Course by The Real Ashnflash is the latest project to achieve 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. If you played video games during the past few weeks, Fall Guys has been one of the most, if not, popular games online. The most amusing part for me was watching TimTheTatMan trying to win his first crown. The build is a race course comprised of various sections that you can find in the game and it also proposed a number of Fall Guys as well.
