LEGO City Mars Exploration Rocket Transport (60229) Official Set Images

Last week, we got our first look at the summer 2019 LEGO City Mars Exploration sets and it looks like there’s now images of the largest set in the wave. Ukrainian retailer Playzone has posted a listing for the Rocket Transport (60229) and it has 1,055 pieces.

As we know by now, we will be getting some space themed sets for LEGO City this summer and we now have official images of the sets via Dutch retailer KelCha.nl. As someone who loves spaced sets, these LEGO City Mars Exploration sets are very interesting to me and we’ll also be getting a People Pack for it as well. The set names were translated from German from the Nuremburg Toy Fair so they might vary a little when we get them in English.

Like with previous shows at the park, the new 12 minute movie uses 3D animation and used 4D real-world effects including wind, bubbles, and water to immerse families into the film. With a purchase of $35 or more in City products, you can either get the Fire ATV (30361) or Road Worker (30357) polybags by using their respective codes at checkout. LEGO City Popcorn Cart (30364) Found at Walmart

I’ve heard from various sources that the LEGO City Popcorn Cart (30364) polybag can now be found at Walmart. It has 43 pieces and is priced at $3.97 like with all other polybags found at Walmart. What’s interesting about this set is the printed 1×1 brick for the popcorn box. This brick is currently only in one other set which is the Fire Station (60215).

LEGO City 2019 Fire Plane (60217) Revealed

Toys R Us Canada has revealed an exclusive LEGO City 2019 set with the Fire Plane (60217). It has 363 pieces but retails for $79.99 CAD due to the large pieces for the plane. No word yet on which retailer will have this set here in the US but it’ll most likely be on LEGO Shop@Home. Thanks to Ashnflash for the heads up.
