LEGO Winter Village Santa’s Workshop (10245) Now Available for VIPs

It is September 17th on the east coast and that means the latest addition to the LEGO Winter Village series, Santa’s Workshop (10245), is now available for early access to LEGO VIP members on Shop@Home. The exclusive set will also be available at LEGO Brand Stores when they open tomorrow morning.

Santa’s Workshop (10245) retails for $69.99 and contains 883 pieces which is a very nice $0.08/piece. Fans of the Winter Village sets will definitely want to add this set to their collection.

Be sure you’re logged in to your VIP account to add the set to your cart. ~~Currently, Shop@Home still says you can pre-order the set and will ship by October 1st but I assume it will ship earlier than that.~~ The Santa’s Workshop (10245) will be available for the general public on October 1st. LEGO Creator Winter Village Santa’s Workshop (10245) Officially Revealed

The newest addition to the LEGO Creator Winter Village theme, Santa’s Workshop (10245), has been officially revealed at Bricks by the Bay 2014. We first teased an image of the set back in May and now we get to see clearer images of the set. Santa’s Workshop will be available for LEGO VIP members starting September 17th and to the general public on October 1st. Check out the images and the press release below.

Update: If you’re wondering why one of the reindeer isn’t Rudolph, Marcos Bessa explains:

Rudolph is actually a trademarked character that I couldn’t include in the set, but there’s a spare round transparent red plate that you can use to do the magic!

LEGO Creator Expert Fairground Mixer (10244) Officially Revealed

LEGO has officially revealed their latest exclusive set, the LEGO Creator Expert Fairground Mixer (10244) at the Sydney Brick Show in Australia. This fairground set is fit neatly into two trucks and is easily opened to show the whole ride and games. The Mixer itself is also Power Functions ready so you can just pop in a motor and let it run. The Fairground Mixer consists of 1746 pieces and will retail for $149.99 and will be available in June. Check out the official press release, designer video, and more images of the set below.

New January 2014 LEGO Sets Now Available Plus Promo Details

It’s January, in the east coast at the time of this writing, and there are new LEGO sets available to purchase on Shop@Home. Some notable additions include the Maersk Line Triple E (10241). The set contains 1518 pieces and goes for $149.99. Next is the LEGO Creator Parisian Restaurant (10243) which contains 2469 pieces and retails for $159.99. The newest LEGO CUUSOO set is also avaialble, the NASA Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity Rover (21104). It has 295 pieces and goes for $29.99. Finally, you can get your hands on the LEGO Architecture Eiffel Tower (21019). This new addition contains 321 pieces and selling for $34.99.

There are also some promotions going on this month. From January 1-20, for every purchase of $50 or more, you can get a free LEGO City Police ATV Polybag (30228), while supplies last.

At the start of every week of January, you can get a free LEGO Movie character poster with any purchase. The characters include Wyldstyle, Emmet, Lord Business, and Batman.

Another promo for the movie is from January 20 through February 16, head over to your local LEGO Store and build something to display and you can get a free The LEGO Movie Accessory Pack.

LEGO Creator Expert Parisian Restaurant (10243) Officially Announced

Way back in July, we did a post revealing that there will be a new LEGO modular set coming in the near future. Today at Brickcon 2013 in Seattle, WA, Kevin Hinkle revealed the newest set to the very popular theme, the Parisian Restaurant (10243). It’s very busy in the Parisian Restaurant. As a scooter zips by, inside the waiter rushes between the tables as the nervous young man gets ready to propose with the ring! The latest LEGO Creator Expert set, the Sydney Opera House (10234), is now available at LEGO stores and on Shop@Home. It has been available for LEGO VIP members since the middle of August but it is now available for everyone. The set contains 2989 pieces and retails for $319.99. You can now create Australia’s most iconic architectural structure using many advanced building techniques and elements. It also comes with a new 48×48 blue baseplate.
