LEGO DC: Shazam! – Magic & Monsters Trailer Released

Syfy has released a first look at the upcoming direct-to-home movie LEGO DC: Shazam! – Magic & Monsters. Shazam gets to star in his own LEGO animated movie now and is voiced by Sean Astin. The premise of this movie is that Black Adam and Mr. Mind along with the Monster Society of Evil turn the Justice League into kids. The minifigures even got short legs and there are also vehicles that could be in the LEGO Mighty Micros line if it continued on.

LEGO DC: Shazam! – Magic & Monsters releases this spring and Target is the only place so far you can pre-order it in the US. If you’re in the UK, Amazon has it up as well. If you remember from last year, there was a Shazam (30623) polybag that surfaced online but we didn’t know where it came from or where to get it. Perhaps it could be included in the Digital/Blu-Ray Combo Pack.

LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139) Available at Target

The LEGO Batman 1989 Batmobile (76139) is now available at Target and if you’re a RedCard member, you can save an additional 5% off. The Batmobile has been a very popular set since it was released last year and I’m a little surprised to see it over at Target. A 5% discount isn’t much but saving $12 on it and get free shipping is better than nothing unless you have a lot of LEGO VIP points to spend.

Yesterday The Batman director Matt Reeves gave us a first look at the Batmobile from the movie. I’m not sure if LEGO will be doing any sets for this movie but more than likely they will since they’re pretty big on Batman. The Batmobile doesn’t have the classic feel to it and it has a suped up engine on the back. If LEGO does decide to release a set for The Batman, I wonder how they would do it, especially with the engine. The film releases on June 25, 2021 so they still have time to plan out the design.
