LEGO DC The Dark Knight of Gotham City (77903) SDCC 2019 Building Instructions

During San Diego Comic Con 2019, LEGO released the LEGO DC The Dark Knight of Gotham City (77903) for attendees who were able to get in the exclusive lottery. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to win any of the lotteries but luckily for us, my friend Jason was able to get the set and has provided us with the instructions to share with you guys. LEGO usually doesn’t provide the instructions for SDCC exclusives so we have to rely on the community to provide them.

The build consists of 427 pieces and has 74 steps. The build does have one exclusive piece that I know of with the printed tile of the Batman 80 Years logo. You can either use the images below to help with the build or you can download the PDF here.

LEGO DC SDCC 2019 Zebra Batman Minifigure Review

Yesterday was the last day for the LEGO minifigure giveaways at San Diego Comic Con 2019 and it was for the LEGO DC Zebra Batman. The card on the front shows the Batman 80th anniversary logo on the top right and the SDCC 50 logo. The back of it has an advertisement for the LEGO DC Super Villains video game.

As for Zebra Batman himself, both sides of the torso have black stripes all over it. The front has the bat symbol and the belt is printed gold. The front of the legs and feet also have the stripes. This will be a common theme with this minifigure. The head is plain white with black lines to show the detailing for it like with the headband and his face. He does have a double-sided head and they are the usual grumpy and angry expressions. The cowl also has some stripes on the front and sides. Lastly, he has a white cape, also with stripes on the outer side.

Overall, the Zebra Batman is an interesting choice for the 80th anniversary of Batman since there are so many variants LEGO could have picked for this exclusive. Personally, I would have like to seen the Terry McGinnis Batman Beyond or the Kevin Conroy from The Animated Series since they are more well known.

LEGO SDCC 2019 Exclusive Zebra Batman Minifigure Revealed

LEGO has just revealed another exclusive SDCC 2019 minifigure giveaway with the Zebra Batman. It will be available as part of the randomized instant-win draw on Saturday, July 20. It’s a bummer that LEGO has decided to reveal more exclusives this late as most people have already pretty much finalized their exclusives they want to get in on and they will probably now have to change their schedule around.

New LEGO DC Comics Shazam! (30623) Found on BrickLink

Well here’s something coming out of Brick Heroes that’s pretty unexpected. There’s a listing on BrickLink for a LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Shazam! (30623) polybag that is based on the recent film. The torso is the same one as in the upcoming Batwing and The Riddler Heist (76120) but the head sort of resembles Zachary Levi from the movie. There’s no word on when this new Shazam! polybag will be available but it’s possible it could be in June when the new LEGO Batman 80th Anniversary sets are released.

The sets will feature a number of heroes, villains, and vehicles from the history of Batman including Shazam, Clayface, the Batwing, and a close representation of the Keaton Batmobile. Although the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Batman Classic TV Series – Batcave (76052) has been retired for almost a year now, Amazon still has a few of these sets in stock and is currently on sale. As of this writing, it is prices at $186.49 which is a savings of $83.50 or 31% of the original price. This is a great price on a retired set especially if you didn’t have a chance to pick it up when it was still available on LEGO Shop@Home.

Continuing with the 2019 set image reveals, there are now some official images of the LEGO DC Batman 2019 sets. Like with the Spider-Man sets, the theme has been shorten to just LEGO Batman, at least according to the boxes.
