If you’ve been holding off on getting the LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827) but you want to see some closer details of the set, the designer video is now available online. Yes I did that it was available for viewing over on the LEGO Shop Facebook Page but I was waiting for a version of it to become avaialble on YouTube for easier viewing.

In the video below, you can see designers Marcos Bessa and Paul-Constantin Ţurcanu discuss some small details that you may not know about yet. I’ve already purchased and I should have my review sometime next week when I have some time to build the set.

In the beginning of 2016, the new LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827) will be available for purchase. I didn’t post this last month but Sergio from Swiss Ghostbusters raised an issue about the similarities between his project on LEGO Ideas and the official set which you can read here. Anyways he received a set from LEGO and has done a timelapse build video as well as a showing off some of the details on it. If you’re on the fence on whether to pick it up or not, check out the video below.

A short while ago, LEGO revealed the official images of the LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827) that will be coming in January 2016. We can now also see inside of the Firehouse which shows tons of little details from Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II including the lab where Egon is examining Louis, the dancing toaster, and the photography room where Egon is examining Vigo’s pictures, just to name a few. The big news today was reveal of the LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827). The official image of the set is now available on Shop@Home along with the description of the set which we already knew about a few weeks ago. If you haven’t yet, check out the details below.

In the image above, we can also see the minifigures of Janine, Dana, and Louis as well as the Librayr Ghost and the Zombie Driver. To the question that many people have been wondering, the doors to the Firehouse Headquarters (75827) can open up to fit the LEGO Ideas Ecto-1 (21108). Click through to see a high quality version of the image.

Update: Although the product page says it is a LEGO Ideas set, designer Marcos Bessa has stated that it is an error on Shop@Home and that the set is not part of the line.

It looks like Toys R Us Canada has starting listing more information about 2016 LEGO Sets as they have posted the set description for the LEGO Ghostbusters Firehouse Headquarters (75827). This pretty much confirms the rumor of this particular set. Important things to note is that it will retail for $399.99 CAD and contains a whopping 9 minifigures including Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, Egon Spengler, Winston Zeddemore, Janine Melnitz, Dana Barrett, Louis Tully, Library Ghost and Zombie Driver.

Also note that the image above is not the official set as it is based on Brent Waller’s LEGO CUUSOO project.
