LEGO Trains 40th Anniversary Set (40370) Giveaway Winner Announced

Earlier this month, we ran a competition to win the LEGO Trains 40th Anniversary Set (40370) and we can now announce the winner. The set was available for a while on LEGO Shop@Home but it went out of stock in the past day or so. Luckily, LEGO sent us an extra one so we decided to give it away. We had almost 4,000 entries but the winner of the set is:

The promotion for the LEGO Trains 40th Anniversary Set (40370) is now live on LEGO Shop@Home. From now until March 15, you can get the set for free with purchases of $99/€99/£99. The set pays homage to the original 7810 version with some updates. If you’re thinking about picking it up, I wouldn’t hesitate as this could be one of the more popular promotions LEGO has done and it might sell out before the promo end date. To help you get closer to the $99 threshold, LEGO has surprisingly released the LEGO Creator Fiat 500 (10271) very quickly after its reveal earlier today. LEGO Iconic Steam Engine (40370)

Starting on March 1, LEGO will be launching a new gift-with-purchase promotion for the LEGO Iconic Steam Engine (40370) which pays homage same set from 1980. This set contains 187 pieces and you can get it for free with purchases of $99/€99/£99 on LEGO Shop@Home from March 1-15. This is the 40th anniversary of the original 7810 version with some updates to how it is built. The contents of the box include three unnumbered bags, two gray 6×10 plates, two red 2×16 plates, the instructions, and a small sticker sheet.
