LEGO DC & Marvel Super Heroes Summer 2015 Official Box Art Images

This post is probably what a lot of readers have been waiting patiently for. Portuguese online retailer BrincaLandia has posted official box art images for the summer 2015 wave of LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes sets, the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets, as well as the LEGO Juniors Marvel set which are scheduled to come out between June and August. Many of these sets will be introducing new characters from their respective brands as minifigures. The above image is of the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes The Batboat Harbour Pursuit (76034).

The Batboat Harbour Pursuit (76034)

Deathstroke is escaping with the loot on his heavily-armored jetboat in the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: The Batboat Harbour Pursuit set. Place Batman and Robin in the cockpits of the Batboat at Gotham City harbor and set off in high-speed pursuit. This set includes 3 minifigures with accessories: Batman, Deathstroke, and Robin.

Jokerland (76035)

The Joker and his team of villains have transformed Gotham’s amusement park into a nightmare in the LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes: Jokerland set. Drive to the rescue with Batman in the awesome Batmobile. This set includes 8 minifigures: Batman, Robin, Beast Boy, Starfire, The Penguin, The Joker, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn.

LEGO Juniors Green Goblin Minifigure Close Up Look

As we know by now, there will be a re-release of the Green Goblin minifigure this August but he won’t be appearing in your usual LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets. Instead, he will be in the LEGO Juniors Spider-Man Hideout (10687). We first saw images of the new Green Goblin during the 2015 New York Toy Fair but there are now some really good close-up images of him courtesy of Luiggi.

With this minifigure, we can expect to get a classic comic books styled look of the Green Goblin with his purple outfit. His skin color is a little too green for my taste but it’s still a cool minifigure nonetheless with all the details on the front and back of the minifigure. He will also come with his signature glider and a pumpkin bomb. As mentioned before, he will be in the new LEGO Juniors set which contains 137 pieces and will retail for $29.99 however, the Green Goblin is exclusive to this set so you’ll pretty much want to get this set if you want to pick him up unless you just buy him individually on the secondary market.

LEGO Juniors Green Goblin Minifigure Coming Summer 2015

If you haven’t been following Brickset’s report closely of the 2015 London Toy Fair, CapnRex101 has given an update on his report on the Brickset Forums. As you can see from the image above and the title of the post, there will be a classic Norman Osborn style Green Goblin minifigure included in one of the new Summer 2015 LEGO Juniors sets. You heard that right. The set will also include his Goblin Glider and at least one pumpkin bomb. This new set will be a little smaller than the current DC Comics Super Heroes Batman: Defend the Batcave (10672). This piece of news is pretty cool because there hasn’t been a Green Goblin minifigure since 2003 and I’m going to guess that he will be using the Series 13 Goblin hat/ear piece.

Not only will we be getting the LEGO Juniors Green Goblin set, there is also a Marvel DUPLO Spider-Man set that will be coming out this summer. This will be the first time that DUPLO will be releasing a Marvel-themed set and I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last.

Stay tuned as more and more details are slowly being released and hopefully we get to see images of these sets at the 2015 Nuremberg Toy Fair next Wednesday.

LEGO Juniors 2015 Official Images Revealed

German toy shop Spielwaren-Bludau has the official images for some of the 2015 LEGO Juniors sets. We’ve already seen the Pirate Treasure Hunt (10679) but now we can see two more sets in next year’s LEGO Juniors lineup. There are supposedly two more sets out there that have no images yet, Fire Suitcase and Supermarket Suitcase.

LEGO DUPLO & Juniors 2015 Rumored Set List

Last but not least, CM4Sci over on Eurobricks has given some details, from “David Thomsen” of course, of the 2015 LEGO DUPLO and Juniors sets. It also looks like there will be some new baseplates. There’s no mentioning if they are some new sizes or what but there is a sand colored baseplate listed. Check out the sets below and again keep in mind that the pricing is in new Zealand Dollars.

London Toy Fair 2014 LEGO Set Report

The London Toy Fair 2014 is currently going on right now and the teams over at Brick Fanatics as well as All About Bricks has been covering what’s been going on. They have done initial reports of the LEGO sets displayed at the convention. LEGO Juniors Minisite Now Live

The new LEGO Juniors minisite is now live and showing all of the new sets that will be available in March. Like with many of LEGO’s sites, there are also activities such as games and coloring pages you can download. The Juniors line is centered for children ages from 4-7 which is a step higher than the DUPLO sets. On the products pages, you can check out the descriptions of each of the new sets as well as animations and building instructions for them. Thanks for all who wrote in about the minisite.
