LEGO Jurassic World Jurassic Park: T. rex Rampage (75936) Statement by Design Teams

LEGO Jurassic World Jurassic Park: T. rex Rampage (75936)

Earlier today, LEGO announced the new LEGO Jurassic World Jurassic Park: T. rex Rampage (75936) and fans noticed that it looks extremely similar to a project that previously hit 10,000 supporters on LEGO Ideas. Both features the Jurassic Park gate and the Tyrannosaurus Rex however the project was minifigure scaled and it featured the Ford Explorer while the new set features a much larger T.Rex. The basis of their model was a large, grey, brick-built T-Rex created by LEGO Designer Mike Psiaki in 2012 when he joined the LEGO Group and from there the model evolved by including the iconic Jurassic Park gates to add additional building

The LEGO Jurassic World Bricktober 2018 promotion is now live on Shop@Home. You can get it free with purchases of $99 or more, while supplies last. This is the third Bricktober 2018 set that has been released so far and we’re still not sure if the Marvel one will be coming to the US. Anyways, get your orders in as I have a feeling that the stock on the Jurassic World minifigure set will go very fast, especially for that exclusive Ian Malcolm minifigure. This promotion also doubles up with the LEGO Seasonal Reindeer Head Christmas Ornament. I can not confirm if it will be in stores since LEGO didn’t send out an email blast like we expected them to.

LEGO Jurassic World: The Secret Exhibit Coming to NBC

LEGO Jurassic World: The Secret Exhibit

Last month, Universal announced their plans for the Jurassic World franchise which included an animated LEGO Jurassic World short and today we have details of it and it is called LEGO Jurassic World: The Secret Exhibit. It is a two-part special that will be a prequel to the 2015 Jurassic World and it will be airing on NBC November 29 at 8pm EST/PST. It will also be streamable the next morning on NBC.com. There will also be a DVD with exclusive content that will be coming out on January 15, 2019. I believe this is the first time that LEGO will have an animated short on one of the major TV stations and not on Cartoon Network like before. Check out the trailer and the press release below.
