LEGO Legends of Chima Online Shutting Down June 1

LEGO Legends of Chima Online

For those who are still playing LEGO Legends of Chima Online, you have about two months left to play it as the game will be shut down on June 1, 2015 for both online and on iOS.

LEGO Legends of Chima Online was released in 2013 when the theme was in its prime but as we know by now, the popular theme will be finished with the final wave this summer. I’m not sure how popular the game was but it seems that people were still enjoying it on the message boards. Below is the official announcement of the closing of LEGO Legends of Chima Online.

We are sorry to tell you that the game will no longer be accessible starting June 1, 2015 at 9:00am EST both online and through our iOS app. On this date, you will no longer be able to play the game or spend any remaining Gold Bricks. Please be aware that if you have any remaining Gold Bricks, you must use them before the game goes offline on June 1, 2015 at 9:00am EST.

We hope you had a great time exploring the world of CHIMA Online.

Thank you,
The Game Team

LEGO Legends of Chima Online Open Beta

The LEGO Legends of Chima Online game has hit the beta stage and you can sign up to play today. It is free-to-play so you don’t have to worry about spending money to play it at this point. LEGO Legends of Chima Online starts off very similar to your standard online games where you create your character to your liking. After that you get a short tutorial of how to play the game. You’ll be encountering enemies that you fight to get better equipment to upgrade your character. You can either play alone or team up with other players to take down harder enemies. Like many other MMO games out there, you have the ability to add or remove people from your friends list. Another element to the game is that you collect LEGO bricks and studs to create different buildings. The reason for this is that certain buildings allow you to craft better weapons and armors while other buildings you use to boost your skills.

While the game is technically free-to-play, there are also membership plans you can purchase for better gameplay. Benefits of the memberships include: bigger inventory space, additional power slots, trading more items, extra outpost expansions, exclusive items, exclusive buildings, the ability to upgrade buildings to level 5, and Gold Bricks. Gold Bricks are an in-game currency that you can use to purchase a variety of premium in-game items.

LEGO Legends of Chima Online Images Revealed

Earlier this month, we reported that there will be a new massively multiplayer online game developed by WB Games Montreal called LEGO Legends of Chima Online. BrickUltra has revealed images of what the game looks like in it’s current state. The game is free-to-play and it allows players to create and customize their world. From what we can see from these preliminary images, the graphics looks pretty darn good. What do you think of the game so far from what you see?

LEGO Legends of Chima Video Games in 2013

With the recent arrival of the Legends of Chima sets, LEGO isn’t done pushing their newly established original property. They, along with Warner and TT Games, have announced three video games based on the world of Chima and will be releasing them across various platforms in 2013.

First is a racing mini-game called LEGO Legends of Chima: Speedorz that is already available on LEGO.com today (although I can’t find it anywhere yet) and on the iOS on January 3rd. Players will be racing characters from Chima through many locations in world of Chima collecting items to power up their vehicles and unlocking more content.

The second game coming out is called LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey. This looks to be a game coming out for various handheld systems including the Nintendo 3DS, PS Vista, and the Nintendo DS. The main character will most likely be Laval and his allies will be having an adventure in the world of Chima. The Nintendo 3DS and PS Vita versions will be released in Summer 2013 while the Nintendo DS will be available in Fall 2013.

The final game being released this year revolving around the world of Chima is LEGO Legends of Chima Online. This is a free-to-play online game that allows players to create and customize their kingdom in Chima. Players can also explore the world as well as taking on missions for rewards. We’re not sure if this is a just single player game or a MMO style game.
