More LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2015 Details Surfaces

Little bits of information for the 2015 LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets have been recently revealed by members of the Eurobricks community. First, LegoBatman55 has reported that he has seen the 2015 Marvel sets but a few members are somewhat skeptical of that information and called shenanigans. First, they mention that there are five Avengers sets, two Ultimate Spider-man sets, and three Ant-Man sets. They also claim that they have seen the minifigures.

I saw Five avengers sets, Two Ultimate spider-man sets and Three ant-man sets. well i can’t make out much but i saw Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, a new Spider-man and one of the minifigures had a yellow cape so i assume its Vision. some new villains Ultron, Baron Von Strucker and some new spider-man villains that i could not make out. i did not see the ant-man ones, but they said there is three ant-man sets. there mite be more spider-man sets because i only saw two and another thing i did not see the DC sets only Marvel

The figures for the Avengers 2015 sets looks like Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Ultron, Baron Von Strucker, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, i could not tell what the spider-man figures were but there is a new Spider-Man figure Design. The Spider-man sets will most likely come out in the summer

A little later, they came out and said that they lied about the whole thing so it’s hard to give credit to them being a reliable source of information about sets … Continue

Some LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2015 Set Details

A few days ago, we reported on some rumored LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes 2015 sets and now, some LEGO Marvel Super Heroes details have emerged. An Eurobricks member named Hulk_Smash has given some hints of what would be coming out next year for the Marvel side of the LEGO sets.

First up are some sets based on the Ant-Man movie that will be coming out next summer starring Paul Rudd.

Next is a set based on the Iron Man Hulkbuster suit which is presumably an Avengers: Age of Ultron set. The Hulkbuster would be aroudn the size of Groot from the Guardians of the Galaxy set (76020) and can fit a regular Iron Man minifigure inside. Earlier this week, we had a guest post and Joe suggested that such a set may happen and it looks like it could be happening.

Hulk_Smash also has some information about an Invisible Jet for LEGO DC Comic Super Heroes. From what he learned from his source, the jet is made completely of clear pieces similar to what was shown in the LEGO Batman: Visual Dictionary (see below). He was also told that the Invisible Jet is connected with the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie.

So there you have it. Some more juicy little tidbids to whet your appetite about the LEGO Super Heroes sets that could be coming out in the future. Just to give some context on Hulk_Smash, he did correctly give information about the 2013 LEGO Super Heroes sets so he does … Continue

Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Movie Poster in LEGO Form

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Guardians of the Galaxy

This week marks the premiere of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy in theaters. The celebrate the movie E! Online has revealed an image of the movie poster in LEGO form. I watched it yesterday and it was awesome especially the part where Thanos shows up. I got that tingly feeling and am very excited for the upcoming movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe leading up to the battle against Thanos. That is still a few years away but in the meantime, the Avengers still have Ultron to deal with next year. Now if I can just have enough time to build the GotG sets

LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy Trailer #2 by Antonio Toscano

Friday marks the premiere of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy in theaters and over the past weekend while I was at San Diego Comic Con 2014, Antonio Toscano posted a new video of the GotG trailer that he has created on our Facebook Page. Like many of his other videos, Antonio has recreated the second Guardians of the Galaxy trailer done entirely in LEGO. Check out the video below and make sure to subscribe to his channel to see more of his cool videos. As usual, he has done a pretty good job on it with the sets that are now available. Check out both versions of the trailer below and see the close similarities both have to each other.

LEGO Marvel GotG The Collector SDCC 2014 Exclusive Minifigure

LEGO Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy The Collector SDCC 2014 Exclusive

For today at San Diego Comic Con 2014, LEGO was giving out the Marvel Super Heroes Guardians of the Galaxy The Collector as the exclusive minifigure. First seen at the end of Thor: The Dark World played by Benicio del Toro, he receives the Aether from Sif and Volstagg to keep in his collection.

As you can see, the minifigure does have a somewhat similar look to Benicio del Toro with a stern look on one side and an angry look on the other. He has a maroon leaf-patterned with a chain in the front torso. The back also has some of the leaf patterns as well. He wears a white cape to represent his fur cape from the movie. The legs has some of the patterns with some maroon details on the lower leg areas. Finally, he also has some black and trans-red studs to maybe show the Aether.

Like with the Bard the Bowman minifigure from yesterday, the insert inside the clamshell packaging opens up to show a mini portrait of The Collector.

Tomorrow’s minifigure giveaway will be the Batman of Zur-En-Arrh so hopefully I’ll be able to win one too and keep the winning streak going.
