LEGO Seasonal Banana Guy Set Revealed

Our friends at PromoBricks has given us a first look at the new LEGO Seasonal Banana Guy promotional set. It is in the same line as the previous Seasonal sets that come in the little cardboard box which included the Iconic Easter (5004468), Gingerbread Man (5005156), Caveman & Cavewoman (5004936), and the current Iconic Easter 2018 (5005249).

As you can see from image above, the set comes in a tropical hut design with the Banana Guy wearing some sandals while having a boombox as an accessory. There’s no word yet on the availability for the US at this time but it is already available at LEGOLAND Billund. I assume this set will be part of a promotion this summer as it fits the vibe of the set.

LEGO Seasonal Iconic Easter 2018 (5005249)

The promotion the LEGO Seasonal Iconic Easter (5005249) set is now live on Shop@Home. You can get it for free with purchases of $35 or more, while supplies last, from March 16-31. This set is the fourth in the series of these type of sets joining the Easter Chicken, Gingerbread Man, and Caveman & Cavewoman. The Iconic Easter set consists of an Easter Bunny Guy along with some accessories and he comes in one of those small cardboard boxes with the cut out door to reveal the minifigure.

In addition to the promotional set, it looks like there’s also a double VIP points promotion going on which runs from now until March 30.

Target has a new online Spring promotion going on when you purchase LEGO sets with your REDcard. As you see above, you can get the Iconic Easter (5004468) set with a $20 purchase or more on select LEGO sets.

There is a limited quantity and will be added to your cart if you made the requirement and if you’ve linked your REDcard to your account. The promotion excludes Hard to Find items and DUPLO and ends on March 24 at 11:59 pst.

If you don’t care about the promo at all, you can just buy the set outright for $5.99 each.

The minimum purchase to get it is $88 and it’s a pretty good promotion since this is the first time that the US is able to get these Year of the Zodiac animals. The new LEGO Seasonal Year of the Dog (40235) promotional set is now live on Shop@Home. To celebrate Chinese/Lunar New Year, LEGO has released this cute little set that was previously only available in Asian countries and in the UK for a short time. To get the Year of the Dog set, it is free with purchases of $88 or more. The promotion runs from now until February 28, while supplies last. If you see the slider on Shop@Home, the $50 minimum purchase is incorrect as you have to have at least $88 in your cart. I’ve already done an early review of the set if you want to check that out.
